Here's my second [community profile] kink_bingo amnesty piece ... for my "tentacles" square. Ariel/Ursula, because of course. Also, Not Safe For Work. )

Okay, sorry for being brief, but I need to crash soon. It's the weekend and my roommate's out of town for a few days: I want to be awake to appreciate the sheer lack of slamming doors and tense silences.

Whoops, sorry guys! I'm looking forward to trying my hand at a couple of those fanart prompts, but my comic work took longer than expected ... and then I realized how down to the wire I was for [community profile] kink_bingo amnesty. I really want to give the challenge another try this year!

I want these in two separate posts, so apologies for the spam!

It's funny, because when I asked for my card, I was really nervous about a few kinks that I wasn't sure I could do justice to. Guro was one of them, and ... that got me thinking how I could pull it off RACK-style. So when my card didn't include guro, I immediately decided I wanted to use my "free" space for it, because I loved the idea so much. That's one of my favorite things about fandom challenges ... stretching in unexpected ways!

Whee, I got my [community profile] kink_bingo card! Check it out! (contains a small amount of nudity) )

The first round of submissions for my not-irrelevant real-life summer project are due today, also! \o/

My train is running late and I'm bored, so maybe I will try posting from my phone! Hmm, clearly that's a great idea.

So I have decided to sign up for [community profile] kink_bingo this round, and I'm kind of stupidly excited about it. It's not even that I've been doing a lot of, hmmm, sexier work lately (although that's cool). It's just ... I've been really missing doing more fanart, on the one hand, and also I have a hankering to be a bit more multifannish again! I'd be tempted to ask for prompts, but I'm so busy ... and I never finish everyone's requests even when I'm not. [community profile] kink_bingo's much less of a commitment, and really challenging in a whole bunch of ways.

Last year when I thought about signing up, I was like eek, no, there are too many things on this list that I couldn't handle! But IDK ... I kind of think I could find a way to pull off just about any square. (I just thought of a way of framing a kink that normally really squicks me--no naming names--and now I really hope I get it on my card. Hmmm.) Whee, I can't wait to try.

I guess I might take some Avengers prompts at some point, also. Maybe. We'll see how much I can bite off, here.
reflectedeve: Frank Iero posing with a painting of himself (covering "his" mouth). (c'est ne pas un frank)
Ugh, it's so good to be home. I've been back in the Happy Valley for a couple days, on a brief visit to family (biological and chosen). It's nice to spend some time in a place which, while familiar, contains plenty of new faces. I can go whole hours without encountering someone I've spoken to before, if I'm careful. Also I got to pick up my comics subscriptions from the last few months (Brian K. Vaughn & Fiona Staples's Saga is pretty nifty, by the way ... and new Castle Waiting is the best thing of ALL), and go shopping for such things as used music, sex toys and sun dresses, none of which I can do easily back north. (Although dress shopping, it turns out, just isn't happening. MY BREASTS ARE DRESS PROOF. :( I did find a lovely new tie, though, and I got to try on a gorgeous tail coat.)

After all that shopping yesterday, my friend was telling me about this little company in Maine that makes handcrafted dildos shaped like tentacles and unicorn horns (among other things). I thought some of you might appreciate that? ;)

Anyway, enough rambling about random real life stuff ... while I was off doing un-internet things, the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] bandombigbang fic I illustrated for was posted! And I Will Be Your Goal (Frank/Gerard/Grant) is a lovely story about relationships and revolution simultaneously gaining momentum in a vaguely steampunk European setting, written by [personal profile] tuesdaysgone and [personal profile] fleurdeliser! Check it out! You can find my illustrations here or on LJ. I had a blast with the Regency-era costuming in particular!

I also have to put in a quick plug for The Only Hope For Me Is You, the final part of [personal profile] tuesdaysgone's Killjoys trilogy, which I cannot WAIT to read. Those stories have basically been my chosen Killjoys canon thus far, and I'm so thrilled to finally get the conclusion!

I hope you guys are generally having a great weekend! I should go tear myself off the internet before I accidentally spoil myself for the Legend of Korra finale on tumblr.

Hey guys, hey. I'm sitting in my favorite cafe working on the next part of [personal profile] ataratah's Sailor Moon nostalgia art challenge, and I was vaguely thinking about putting together a more thoughtful post later? But I need to share this with you right now:

[livejournal.com profile] bandomreversebb

Um, yeah, so that's the BANDOM REVERSE BIG BANG CHALLENGE that I've been wanting to do forever. \o/ (As in, you know: artists and mixers create fanwork, and writers sign up to base stories on the art and mixes!) I have, for the most part, sworn off challenges for a good long time, but this one is fitting into my schedule somehow. All that extra art mojo from grad school has to give me latitude for at least this.

What I'm saying is, you should really sign up, because this could be amazing. :D

(Um, yes, I did have another cafe mocha, but I'm eating lunch right now, I promise I'm not going to bounce out of the atmosphere anytime soon ...)
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (self-love - sparkly alien lesbian)
So [personal profile] ataratah and I have talked a lot about our early love for Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, and awhile back she suggested that we try doing some kind of related art project! This is my piece based on the first of a series of prompts she suggested: a panel from the manga, redrawn in my own style. It was ridiculously fun, hanging around in a cafe, working on these together.

Oh Nostalgia, part one )

So that was fun! I can't wait to start the next prompt, though I have to space these things out with ... other fanart obligations, of course. (I am pretty much just going to do as much fanart as I can manage 'til I leave, I think.)

You seriously, SERIOUSLY have to go check out [personal profile] ataratah's answer to this part of our challenge, over here (or on LJ). It is drop-dead gorgeous. I cannot get over how fucking graceful her linework and gestures are; she's taken one of the simpler manga panels and just made it come alive. (Also, I don't know if any of you have ever watched PGSM--the live-action Sailor Moon--but I ship Rei/Minako like burning, and this is some of the best fanart of them I've seen.)

Just wait until you see what she has in store for the next two prompts!
reflectedeve: Worried Rachel Summers/Phoenix, reaching out to touch a smiling, out-of-costume Kitty Pryde. (checking in - crosstime caper)
I am having a super-lurkery week! Just one of those times when I generally feel like I'm stuck on a "taking things in" setting, reading and reading and not interacting very much. (I don't just mean on the internet, either.) I have no idea if that makes any sense, but. Hi. o_____o

One thing I should really, really read less of is all the DC Comics news. I spent a fair chunk of yesterday going through this massive roundup of reaction links to the de-Oracle-ing of Barbara Gordon, a move which dismays me for a whole variety of reasons (from the representation issue down to finding it reductive on a storytelling/character development level). Also, pleased as I am that Batwoman's going ahead as planned (and Jaime Reyes gets his book back!), I'm still sitting here twitching and wondering when we're going to hear something about Cass, Steph, Helena, and Renee. Ugh, superhero comics, why.

On a related note, stories like this about the marginalization of actual women by the comics mainstream (from a retail perspective, in this case) fill me with rage. Women and the medium both deserve better.

Some happier fannish things! The [livejournal.com profile] bandombigbang fic I drew for this year is up: [livejournal.com profile] the9thdoctor's Angels From The Neon! It's a nifty take on the Killjoysverse, rather distinct from some of the other stories I've read! You can find my illustration over here; an image that I couldn't get out of my head until I got it down on paper. It was a fun challenge, and definitely took me out of my comfort zone.

Also, [personal profile] tuesdaysgone has posted Bulletproof Heart, the second part of her epic Killjoys trilogy, which does a fantastic job of knitting together and fleshing out the universe we see in the videos. The worldbuilding and character interaction are to die for, seriously; it's the kind of story I just want to crawl inside for awhile. *____* Check it out, and don't forget [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx's kickass accompanying artwork.

Oh man, look at me being all scattered! I need to get out of the office and breathe a bit. I have a [livejournal.com profile] cilghal coming to stay with me this weekend, which is awesome, and my very last Boston Pride (at least, as a local resident) is tomorrow. So hopefully I can get a little relaxing, enjoying, and re-focusing in!

In honor of Pride, have some (canon) lesbian artwork! There's a lot of Sailor Moon nostalgia going around, and seeing as that was both my first fandom and a massive artistic catalyst for me, I couldn't resist noodling around with a couple of the characters a few weeks back. I totally forgot to post it then, so have it now: Michiru and her Haruka. )

Okay, this post is a pretty accurate reflection of my state of mind right now, so I think I'll stop subjecting you all to it. Have a great weekend, bbs! ♥ I should have more art for you sometime soon, and possibly hilarious stories about me learning to drive. (I kind of hope they're not too hilarious.)
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (the direct approach - something there)
So awhile back, I signed up for the second round of [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang, and now I finally get to post! I love the whole concept of reverse bangs (there should be more of them, in all my fandoms); in a neat reversal, fanartists get to see what it's like when another creative person takes our work and runs with hir own interpretation. Fascinating.

As my piece is a bit NSFW, have a thumbnail, and the full image beneath the cut:

thumbnail featuring three Federation uniforms, close together

Lieutenant, Captain, Commander ... is that really appropriate conduct for the turbolift? )

I swear I meant to draw something that implied a little more, oh, plot ... fortunately, the intrepid [livejournal.com profile] classroomnotes managed to spin one out anyway! You can find the tale here: Dream Weaver (Spock/Uhura, R). It reminds me delightfully of an episode of TOS, only with a bit of AOS spin (and slightly risque subject matter, comparatively speaking). I am flattered that she was inspired by my work.

You guys should check out the community; there is going to be a whole mess of fantastic fic & art going up over there over the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to reading; I've already had sneak peeks at the artwork, and let me tell you, it is stunning. Seriously some of the best overall output I've ever seen for a single challenge.
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (AU - crack - pensive - scary)
I've been in bandom for almost three years now, but I'm still occasionally taken by surprise when that whole 'overinvestment in celebrities' lives' thing rears its head. And yet here I am, reeling sadly over Pete/Ashlee divorce proceedings. Real life, IDEK. :(

It's a little odd that I was already working on a bunch of FOB-related art for the first time in ages. I have a larger Killjoys!AU piece to finish at some point, but in the meantime, [personal profile] jjtaylor requested some Patrick art, and this happened:

Patrick Stump, agent of S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W

I couldn't resist the reference to his opening comments on "Love Selfish Love," though I'm not sure this is even quite in character for the whole BL/ind concept I was going for. Also? My first attempt at drawing him (in an approximation of his current look) wound up looking an awful lot like David Bowie (whose likeness I have struggled with, off and on, for years). I'm sure he'd be pleased.

In other fandom news, I received my [community profile] white_lotus gift yesterday; it's another amazing vid, full of gorgeous swoopy motion shots and heart-catching character moments. CAST OF MY HEART, basically. ♥ I appreciate my mystery vidder very much.

I've been back to not having time for much fic, the last week or two (although I've torn through three volumes of The Invisibles on the bus; I'm liking it more and more as I go on); however, after last night's White Collar, I find myself really craving some OT3 kinkfic. I don't suppose anyone has any recs? ;)
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (gimme fire - don't be stingy)
I am back at work after another "snow day" (it was really slush and ice, and therefore worse), much of which I spent rather delightfully hanging out with [livejournal.com profile] omnia_mutantur and her cats. Focus eludes me, so here is a post about many exciting fannish challenges that are going on right now.

So first of all, [livejournal.com profile] bandombigbang artist sign-ups are now open! I so wish I could sign up for both waves, but the second one is happening right around the time I'll be quitting my job, packing up all my possessions, and gearing up to move north for grad school. I have been stupid about taking on fannish commitments before, but yeah, no.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang artist sign-ups are closed, but author sign-ups are ongoing! :D? :D? I have to think of what to draw now, meep. (You could always share some prompts, no strings attached!)

On the other end of schedule things, posting has begun for the Lunar New Year Exchange at [community profile] white_lotus, which promises to be fucking amazing. Multimedia Avatar: the Last Airbender fanworks (one will be by me)! And I haven't had a chance to do much more than skim the many [livejournal.com profile] halfamoon offerings yet, but I very much enjoyed the Tightrope vid by [personal profile] such_heights (kickass women in multiple fandoms set to Janelle Monae! ♥).

Oh, on one important real life note: my amazing roommate is going to be losing her job in a little over a month, because the local stationary chain she currently works for is shutting down. :( If anyone hears about decent full-time work (probably in the clerical or customer service areas ... or art-related?) local to the Boston area, I'd be grateful for a heads-up. ♥
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (summer of like - pictured together - shi)
Messy morning, but no snow day for me. Which I realize is just as well, or I'd only wind up working late trying to catch up later this week, but all the same.

Had quite a productive weekend, really; tried a new soup recipe (made of leaves and much tastier than expected - by which I mean, very), posted new fanart, got quite a significant chunk of minicomic work done, took in a play, and gave up on avoiding Grant Morrison fic. (Lines? What lines?) Had about fifteen other things I wanted to work on, but that's always the way.

I've been listening to Fall Out Boy an awful lot again lately, also. (I didn't even realize how much I missed them.) I've honestly been avoiding most news about related people since the breakup, with the result that I haven't heard any of the music various folks have been putting out. Should I?

[ETA:] I almost forgot! [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang is open for sign-ups! Sign up to draw something, or write something based on a drawing! And even if you don't want to do that anyone can submit awesome prompts.
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (woman of mystery - there's a rose in my)
Thank fucking goodness it’s a three-day weekend. I may, at times, have wondered if I was blowing this time of year out of proportion a bit, but really, not so much. Once again, I’m grateful that the windows on my floor don’t open – defenestration of particularly uncooperative faculty members does get a bit tempting now and then. (Seven more months ... and only three more weeks of Admissions season. I'll just keep daydreaming about dyeing my hair outrageous colors the second I can do that again, and maybe other things too.)

It’s just as well that bandom has eaten my brain again, really; it’s a pretty great distraction. A few days ago, I randomly dreamed that Greta Salpeter asked me out on a date and we cuddled in the middle of a big, sunny field (there was some sort of festival setting up nearby). My subconscious isn’t usually so fluffy, but it was nice. Of course, it’s probably only a matter of time before all the Grant Morrison-related ephemera I’ve been consuming catches up to me. (I watched the Disinfo speech a few days ago. I don’t even know, nor am I sure I want to. I do want to finally get back to reading The Invisibles, though.)

Seriously, how did this even happen? Fandom in comics and comics in fandom … I’ve watched the Talking With Gods documentary twice in the last week, so I suppose fanart is only a matter of time, really. Particularly since I seem to have made illustrating [personal profile] jjtaylor my fannish occupation of late.

Speaking of which! It was her birthday yesterday, a fact which helped me decide which scene from “The Detective’s Secret” I’d play with next. (I have a longish list.) Hope you like it, bb; happy belated! ♥

Not going into the pool. )

It occurred to me recently that I miss using this space for conversation, rather than just as a slightly talky gallery. I’ve seriously gotten out of the habit of commenting and communicating on DW/LJ, and I’m finding getting back into it something of a challenge. Definitely want to do better on that.

In a slightly more interactive vein (and to prove that I do in fact have other fandoms still): there’s an interest-gauging poll going on for [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang right now! That’s the reverse Star Trek bigbang where ficcers sign up to write stories based on fanart; an awesome idea that I’d love to see spread around a bit more. You guys should check it out.

Before I go work on my actual minicomic for awhile, one more thing I have to share: the spectacle of Pete Wentz interviewing himself. I still love his stupid face.

Uh, I've kind of been skimming the massive outpouring of MCR press, so I just noticed that Gerard made a GLAM ROCK PLAYLIST for Rolling Stone. I don't even. Good morning. ♥

I won't lie; part of the reason I love "Vampire Money" so much is for the Sweet-style opening, and the Bowie and Bolan namechecking.

While I'm spamming, did I mention that you should sign up for this Avatar: The Last Airbender exchange? Not due 'til January, takes fic, art, vids, crafts and more, and sign-ups end in two days! GO GO GO.
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (wanted - post=apocalyptic - give me that)
I've been buzzing around trying to make a few more art deadlines for next week (fan & original), but I did take the time to whip something up for [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx's Killjoy Art Meme. You should definitely check it out, and perhaps join in - [livejournal.com profile] theopteryx has thoughtfully provided a raygun template for decorating, if you don't feel like designing a whole Killjoy. Here's my Mary Sue contribution )

I enjoy the creative philosophy of this new MCR album so much. It feels absolutely perfect for where I am in my life right now (and so did TBP when I discovered it, though I was several years late on that one - funny thing).

I enjoy ... pretty much everything ELSE about it, too. I'm not sure I could nail down favorite songs, really, but "Vampire Money" is certainly up there. Also "Planetary (GO!)" and "Bulletproof Heart" for sure ... really, the only track I'm not completely in love with is "Summertime" (I like the New Wave style all right, but the lyrics aren't really clicking with me, IDK). I'm psyched to see them play some of it live (in a week already, yikes)! Anyone else going to the New York show with Gaslight Anthem? (Apart from the people I already know about, of course - you know who you are. ♥)

On another fannish note, I see that the [community profile] white_lotus comm has opened Lunar New Year Exchange sign-ups. Okay, SERIOUSLY, guys ... there needs to be so much more Avatar: The Last Airbender fanwork around here. I rewatched the third season over the course of last week, and goddamn, that show. My heart. (This was only the second time I've watched the finale, and damn, Zuko and Iroh made me cry.)

I desperately want more fic, but if you don't write (like me), you can still participate! They're taking "fic, vids, art, icons, crafts, and (potentially) other stuff," which is deeply awesome; plus, the deadline isn't until the end of January! Of course, sign-ups do end this Monday already, so GET ON THAT. (The comm is on dreamwidth, but you don't need to have an account!)

I should probably get back to family times now, whoops. I'm so disoriented, after spending most of my fall in an art cave; the holiday season has never crept up on me this badly before.
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (the direct approach - something there)
So hey, a little more fanart, for yet another challenge. I actually drew this ages ago, but now I finally get to post it. :D [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang was a seriously cool concept, and I'm delighted to have had a chance to take part.

Fandom Star Trek: AOS
Rating PG
Notes I had fun with this piece, even though I think I may need to relearn Photoshop from the ground up! My favorite bit was putting together the TOS homage with the (electric) Vulcan lyre. ;)

getting ready to boldly go

[livejournal.com profile] arhh was awesome enough to write a piece of fic based on my work: Musical Reflections. Due to the curve balls life occasionally sees fit to throw, I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I am super excited and grateful. :D Thank you so much!
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (slash - fanart - self-indulgence)
Oh um, hi internet! /o\ I am kind of swamped these days. I've taken on a number of original comics projects for the summer (not to mention my grad school application). So it looks like I'm just going to have even less time for fandom stuff than usual. (Although, I say this five days before Leverage comes back, so IDK. Grain of salt.)

That said, the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] bandombigbang story I drew for has gone live! Only Going One Way, by [personal profile] ataratah and [personal profile] jjtaylor, is a BANDOM/DUE SOUTH CROSSOVER. Yeah. :DDD It is fucking hilarious and cracked-out and amazing, and you should totally go check it out! Not only is the main pairing adorable, but these two have a real gift for writing great secondary characters as well - in both fandoms. (Buck Frobisher, omg. :DDD)

You can see my four illustrations on LJ or on DW. How could I possibly pass up the chance to draw Gerard Way in a Mountie uniform? I had so much fun with this, seriously. It was particularly appropriate, since I started working on it during the drive to/from Canada for my brother's graduation.

Of course, now I've done fanart of Fraser and Kowalski, but not Vecchio ... which means that at some point, I'll have to make time to rectify that. ;)

On a less gleeful note, you've probably all heard about the most recent, sickening bit of fandom racefail by now? But here's a rather belated signal boost, just in case, because I think it's important to be aware of shit like this. (Link goes to the most comprehensive round-up post of the debacle, by [livejournal.com profile] amazonziti.) In a nutshell: a SPN fan decided that the tragic (and ongoing) aftermath of the Haiti earthquake would make a great backdrop for her two white dudes to ~find themselves and have hot sex, piling on plenty of painful racist and imperialistic tropes along the way. Her betas, artist, cheerleaders, and quite a few commenters apparently agreed. Eurgh.

I'm sorry for both being so late and so brief on the matter ... I may try and get a post together later about some different instances of pop culture/fannish fail I've been encountering lately (much of it about race). I hope.
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (ella ella eh eh eh)
Oh my god, it stopped raining! \o/ Seriously, you guys, I don't mind daylight savings most of the time (I'd much rather wake up in the dark, if it means getting an extra hour of sunshine after work), but having it happen in the midst of four days' steady downpour is just playing dirty. Can't wait to finally enjoy that sunlight this evening, while I run around my apartment trying to prepare for the beekeepers.

Tomorrow: holes knocked in my bedroom ceiling! Vacuuming up honeybees! Most exciting. Cross your fingers for me that it'll work? If they're in among the bricks instead of the crawlspace, we might be forced to exterminate after all. (Which, apart from the fact that killing bees is a shame, would entail potential habitability issues that I'm not sure how to deal with. :/)

Okay, so there's a lot of buzz (err), both positive and negative, about Dreamwidth again. You may notice the little automatic message at the bottom of this post; I've been crossposting for months now, but I've decided I'd like to make that a little more obvious. I have no plans to ever turn off LJ commenting! I prefer Dreamwidth on a whole number of levels, but I get that plenty of you don't, and I have no intention of trying to pressure anyone into switching. That said, I consider Dreamwidth my primary location now; I'm working on taking all crossposters off my LJ default filter and all that jazz, and if you don't mind commenting at DW (either with your own account or OpenID), that would be neat.

I have to get back to work, but: [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang writer/artist match-ups have been announced, and you should go check out the totally tantalizing thumbnails of the art submissions (so far). :D I have to go email my writer! Can't wait to see how this all turns out.

Also, you might want to check out [livejournal.com profile] coc_m_madness (Characters of Color March Madness, multifandom character voting modeled on [livejournal.com profile] f_march_madness). It is painful. I just had to pick between Zoe Washburn and Gunn! And Charlie Young and Wallace Fennell!

Lastly! Gold Motel just announced East Coast tour dates on their myspace, including one for Allston. Yes, Greta, come to meeeee. *_*
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (fancy seeing you here - make an entrance)
Oh man, I am so behind on everything! Life's been pretty nutty lately, what with taking first steps towards the grad school of my dreams and all, and having my first-ever portfolio review. (It went really well - thanks so much to everyone for the advice! ♥) I have some catching up to do, per as usual.

I'm super excited, though, because [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang claims are going on right now! Soon I will have at least one author to work with. \o/

Also, over lunch today I watched the season finale of White Collar. Brief-ish reaction. )

I haven't watched this much current TV in so long . . . I'd forgotten what it was like to be stranded between seasons! Someone should totally take this opportunity to write epic Leverage/White Collar crossover fic. ;)

Now I guess I should probably go to bed, seeing as I overslept this morning and missed my bus (for the first time since moving in here). /o\
reflectedeve: Pearl from Steven Universe, in a tux and top hat (the direct approach - something there)
For the umpteenth time: coloring art is hard. Bleurgh. Trek fanart just doesn't seem to want to be b&w, though, so maybe this will force me to do better at it! (I'm pretty excited about my piece, anyway!)

On a related note: the author sign-ups for [livejournal.com profile] trekreversebang end today! There is still time to get in on the action! You too can write 6K of Star Trek fic based on someone's amazing fanart. (Can't wait to seeeeee, omg.)

I finally got around to watching the fifth and sixth TOS movies with my roommate recently. (How much do I love living with such a huge sci-fi geek, even if she's not a slasher? Although, I did discover that she wrote Vision of Escaflowne fic when she was a teenager. Ha.) The fifth was . . . well. Nobody was lying about that, although I rather enjoyed the shore leave stuff at the beginning. Undiscovered Country was certainly an improvement, and now I understand lots of fandom references better (this piece in particular). ;) I'm almost done with the original cast now, woe. I should watch the rest of TAS at some point.

I'm still re-watching Farscape, also, and just . . . holy shit. I didn't think I'd forgotten how much I love this show, but I guess I did, because wow. Also, "John Quixote" makes so much more sense if you've actually watched the whole series in order up to that point. ;)

I got my portfolio assembled last night, so now I'm just going to ignore it and focus on fandom until the weekend. Yeah.

Happy March? (Stop raining already?)
