I've heard of very few of these titles, although Harold and the Purple Crayon was a favorite of my little brother's (and mine, although I was a bit old for it; I've always loved visual meta like that). Thank you for your input. Writing for children isn't something I really plan to do much of, but it's an interesting challenge, particularly since ... children's writing that I like now isn't necessarily what appeals most to actual children? IDK.
