Aw, look at all the people posting. Hello again! No idea if I’ll actually start posting here again more than once or twice a year, but it’d be nice if fandom exodus’d back this way.
(Egad, I never even posted links to my Yuletide fic or gift last year. I’ve been even scarcer than I thought.)
But oh, for the ease of image hosting at tumblr. :( I don’t suppose that’s ever really coming to the AO3, huh.

Which is a shame, because the fandom atmosphere over here is actually kind of nice/friendly.

Won’t due for ~professional cartoonist purposes period, though, I think. I love this format for comfy, community-focused everything; livejournal/dreamwidth style blogging always felt like a refuge,a home, for me. But easy shareability has become totally indispensable for creative business stuff.
I was so happy back when this was my norm, though. It would be lovely if it took off again. And it’s neat having you here!

(That being said, I can't imagine trying to run a business through LJ/Dreamwidth - that would be nightmarish...)
It's neat having you here, too! I much prefer this style of blogging, if I'm totally honest. Even when I was having a relatively good time on Tumblr I missed the friend-lock option...

Did you have a livejournal fandom phase? I don't really know much about your fannish history before we met!

We should IM about this at some point - I actually don't know a whole lot about your fannish history, either!

(I've never actually watched Inglourious Basterds, and if the fandom had any particular tenor or reputation, I'm unfamiliar. Why discredit? Also I spent several years doing a whoooole lot of band RPF stuff, as you will see in my sticky post, so I am not about the judging.)
Oh lord, it's a long and probably not really all that interesting tale. But having said that, I love hearing about other peoples' experiences in great detail, so. Yes, we totally should!

Yeah, no, I had no idea what Strikethrough was until I googled it. That sounds like an all-to-familiar nightmare...
