I'm guessing that it might be OK to say 'I hope it gets better' since this blog entry is public. Your plan of treating it like it's normal sounds like a really good way to underline the fact that it is your normal, which in my experience can be pretty effective to make people get used to the fact that it is, regardless of what others think that you should be doing.

Glad to see that art-prompting thing is coming along- I'd love to take a look, if you would be OK with that.
