Hm, I would appear to be christening my twenty-seventh year with a sudden headcold. Maybe lying on a rock by the river yesterday was not the best of plans, even if it was very warm in the sun. Oh well, it was worth it. :)

A quiet day back home was my gift to myself, and it turned out lovely; a nice dinner with my parents, a little bit of shopping (picked up the second season of Castle and the fifth volume of Invisibles--which I promptly managed to leave on my parents' kitchen table, but I can get them soon enough--and a white tie I have special plans for), plus the surprise bonus of "meeting" a couple of my future classmates. My school has a message board, so we've started trickling in to introduce ourselves; I am going to be making comics with some seriously exciting people.

This week is going to consist of open house wackyness at work, and trying frantically to finish my trekreversebang piece in time for the Friday deadline. At the end of it: fangirls! ♥ So life is pretty good right now.
