Hello, delightful person! Thank you for doodling for me! This exchange is just the best, and so are you!
The spirit of this exchange matters to me a lot. I hope participating will be super fun and low-pressure for you, regardless of your "skills" (SO relative!), experience, media of choice, or level out output you happen to be feeling like. I am honored that you're making me a thing, and I cannot wait to see it!
I enjoy prompts and the like, so I'm going to provide some in case you do too. That said, this will probably be a pretty inconsistent letter on that score. I'm a little all over the place right now, so in some cases you might see some detailed ideas, probably cobbled together from past exchanges; in others, some broader strokes. Preference should in no way be read into any of that, please! I'm excited about all my requests, just having a very busy time and feeling extra ADHD lately.)

This DNW does not cover "suggestive" art where people are very close, clothing is askew, underwear is partially/maybe fully visible, maybe there's a nipple even IDK, hands might be somewhere interesting but it's more implied than shown ... that sort of thing. It's not the clearest of lines, I'll admit, and if you're walking it, go with what makes sense to you. This DNW is more about preferences/what I find interesting than squicks, and you're not going to ruin my exchange or trigger me or something if our definitions of "explicit" aren't perfectly aligned!

Fandom-specific DNWs: any reference to senshi/Shittenou pairings
This fandom lends itself beautifully to all kinds of stylistic play, outfit redesigns, etc - so I'm super down for those things if you want to get into them! Also, depending on how realistic your style is, I really appreciate it when the core characters are clearly portrayed as Japanese.
Creator’s Choice of Youma
What is says on the tin! Any of the deeply ridiculous (generally single-episode) themed monsters the girls fought would delight me - especially the ones from the 90s anime. The flashy leaders and henchmen, the recurring villains, get plenty of attention. I’m looking for the foot soldiers; the droids, the cardians, the lemures, etc!
Creator’s Choice of 3 or more Sailor Senshi
Art of any of the senshi being teammates and friends (and sometimes rivals) together makes me incredibly happy; whether it’s a domestic scene, past or future royalty, or the Sailor Team. There are so many combinations you can choose from! Here are some ideas for what they could be doing together:
Haruka/Michiru/Setsuna & Hotaru
Literally any scene of them being a family would be amazing! Here are a few ideas:
I love the dynamic between these three in early Sailor Moon S, whether the 90s anime or manga/Crystal - the two Outers seeming so aloof and glamorous, and Usagi all flustered and admiring. Haruka’s flirtation, and Michiru’s amusement. (And in the manga/Crystal, a bit more of a sense of their duty to the Princess, and what that does and does not mean in terms of her wishes and their mission.) I’d love to see what you do with that!

Discworld - Terry Pratchett
I still haven't read all the Discworld books, though I've gotten closer in recent years. They're often my comfort material of choice (generally in audiobook format), especially the City Watch and Tiffany Aching stories, though I'm also especially fond of the Witches and the Industrial Revolution sub-series. If you feel like bringing other characters/context, please do feel free!
The Nac Mac Feegle
I like a lot of things about the Tiffany Aching series, but the Feegles absolutely steal the show--and my heart--every time. A group of them being rowdy together, Daft Wullie crying “waily waily,” Rob Anybody looking awkward and half-embarrassed by his band of miscreants, terrorizing farm animals or hapless pub patrons … there are so many things you could doodle that would just delight me.
Canon illustrations would be fun, if you want! I’m especially fond of a couple of early scenes from Wee Free Men; the one where they try to fight the dolls and toys in Tiffany’s dollhouse, and the one where they pretend to be baby birds and terrorize Ratbag the cat. CHEEP!
Jack Jackrum
A (somewhat deceptively) complicated and fascinating character who could use more fandom love! I'd enjoy nearly anything here, whether it's a canon illustration or an extrapolation or what have you. Jackrum mentoring Polly (and/or making her very uncomfortable with the realities of war) is a favorite dynamic; I'd also love to see scenes from his younger days (maybe especially any of those famous rescues of other soldiers), him with his (newly-reunited) family/grandkids, that portrait in the locket, etc.
Maladict
I mean, who can resist a smartass, androgynous vampire, right? You can't really go wrong here, honestly ... unsurprisingly, I especially love her interactions with Polly (and absolutely ship it, although I tend to be especially into it when Mal is teasing/annoying Polly, rather than anything super sweet), and I'm a big fan of her ridiculous coffee-withdrawal hallucinations and uniform modifications. Pre- and post-canon stuff would be cool too!
Sybil Ramkin
I just ... I love her so much. I love her mix of upper class manners and blind spots and her willingness to see herself on fairly equal footing with all manner of watchmen and miscreants, her kindness and her stubborn badass streak, her love for Sam and her determination to a) take care of him/help him take care of himself and b) not allow him to protect her too much, damn it, and of course, her love of absurd, dangerous, stinky, unlovely swamp dragons. A portrait of her with her beloved dragons, a scene of her getting all indignant and ready to show that she's tough and she can take it, an interaction with Sam, something with her and some of the female watchmen ... anything with this queen will fill me with joy.

Dracula - Bram Stoker
Fandom-specific DNW: Implied Dracula/Mina or Dracula/Lucy. I don’t see them as being into him.
Like a good chunk of the internet, I just finished Dracula Daily. It wasn't my first time reading the novel, but I really enjoyed the format, and got freshly and deeply invested in the characters! As is characteristic of me, I am especially into fanworks about the women (and especially riled up at the character assassination of poor Lucy in so many subsequent adaptations). So.
I am up for fix-its/canon AUs, tragedy, reimagining the nature of vampirism, or just all the spooky Victorian Gothic you feel like drawing!
Oh, and I've just realized - this fandom is an exception to my "depictions of character death" DNW! Apologies for not amending that in my sign-up.
Lucy Westenra, Mina Murray, Lucy & Mina, Lucy/Mina
I absolutely ship it, surprising no one. (This is one of those cases where my infidelity DNW could apply, although really, only if you do on-panel art with Jonathan crying off in the corner because Mina's cheating on him or something. Please don't do that. I'm perfectly willing to handwave anything else as consensual nonmonogamy--something I'm totally down for with all our heroes!--or a slight AU where a given canon couple isn't together.) Cuddles at the Whitby graveyard, a heroic Mina rushing in to rescue Lucy in the nick of time in some way (whether by blood transfusion, staying by her side all night, facing down the wolf and/or the Count, or what have you), vampire!Lucy seducing Mina, Mina accepting/comforting a less ~demonic/not-herself vampire!Lucy) ... there are so many things I would enjoy there.
I'd also very much enjoy canon illustrations of scenes with the two of them together, or scenes focused on either of them (though I'd prefer Mina being competent/brave/scared but resolute over anything where she breaks down crying, especially with Van Helsing). Portraits of Lucy with garlic flowers or in her coffin, of Mina taking notes/doing detectivework with newspapers and timetables, and/or with the burn scar on her forehead ... yes please.
I'm not super excited about the idea of vampire!Mina (especially not as vampire women are portrayed by Stoker, as sexy cyphers with little remaining of their original selves), though as briefly noted above, I'm 100% here for vampire!Lucy (whether as portrayed canonically or with added nuance).

I've read Nona the Ninth (twice, so far); there are certainly spoilers throughout my requests!
I'll note that I’m a fan of the whole “a lot of these characters have Maori ancestry” thing, if you want to lean into that visually.
Alecto & Harrowhark Nonagesimus
I am fascinated by these two, and by lingering questions I have about the nature of their connection. (Especially: when Harrow was "hallucinating" her beloved "Body," was the actual Alecto's consciousness involved??)
I'm super into canon illustrations/extrapolations on what we know from canon, here. Wee!Harrow seeing Alecto in the Tomb for the first time. Her various hallucinations throughout HtN (maybe especially the Body "holding" her). That (bloody, biting) wake-up kiss! Alecto swearing fealty! What even was Harrow's FACE doing during all of that?
Cytherea the First & Gideon Nav
I pretty much want all the art of Cytherea-as-Dulcinea having ALL KINDS OF FUN oh-so-innocently making Gideon blush and do butch services for her, you know? Whether it's an illustration directly from canon (like the bit where Cytherea sees her eyes for the first time), fetching/carrying/holding a parasol ... maybe even carrying Cytherea ... or a blushing Gideon stumbling through a steamy bit of a romance novel, which she's reading to a slyly smiling or “innocently” FASCINATED Cytherea. ;)
Gideon Nav & Jeannemary Chatur
I'm mostly into the cuteness of Jeannemary idolizing Gideon (admiring her biceps!), before all the tragedy struck, although if you'd like to draw Gideon rescuing/holding back a distraught Jeannemary, I'm down for that too.
One goofy scenario I've been mulling over and enjoying: Gideon, having lost her sunglasses, discovers Jeannemary has “borrowed” them/is doing some kind of Gideon impression etc (probably for an unimpressed Isaac).
Gideon Nav & Nona
All that tension and confusion was just electrifying and heart-rending in equal measure. I don't ship them (I can't really ship Nona with anyone, personally; she just feels too young for me to want anything more than maybe a little puppy love/crushing to happen for her, I guess), but the scene where Nona kisses Gideon and Gideon has that awful, huge range of emotional responses (from yearning to disbelief to WTF you're not her time to be a depressed asshole) is incredible and something I'd love to see any number of visual interpretations of. Also the two of them generally being uncomfortable with/around each other, or maybe teaming up/having a teammate sort of moment while dealing with an external threat or remark that annoys them both ... just, show me the weird, fraught, so-many-kinds-of-painful dynamic between two characters who excel at varying degrees of sass and cheerful, but who are deeply, deeply wounded and really not especially able to mask it anymore. /rambles
Gideon Nav/Harrowhark Nonagesimus
They are (unfortunately?) my OTP. I love art set at any point in their shared timeline, am fascinated by their friction and their duality and two long books of helpless, hopeless yearning in various forms, and also really enjoy all the humor (especially as it relates to Gideon). So here's a mishmash of prompts I've dreamt up at various points on this journey to date, should you want to take one for a spin:
I did NOT see the dynamic these two have in NtN coming at ALL, and I am intrigued. I'd love to see them together between the end of HtN and their appearance on the scene in NtN; initial humorous hostility, bro-y makeouts, friendship bracelet making (how did that come about/what was Ianthe's initial reaction to the idea?), genderbending, sparring, playing drinking games, half-serious flirting/flirtation chicken ... have fun with it? (I don't mind if it doesn't turn out precisely shippy, although I requested a ship tag. I'm happy with a range of dynamics, though I'm not exactly seeing True Love in this pair.)
Harrowhark Nonagesimus & Palamedes Sextus
I love their weird, often grudging, competitive friendship, and I am heartbroken that we'll never exactly get to see it again. I'm mostly imagining mid-GtN art of them doing their thing; having some kind of VERY PASSIONATE nerdy argument over a scroll, or a bone, or something maybe. Palamedes giving a surprised/stiff/possibly reluctantly pleased Harrow a side/shoulder hug. Etc.
The Body | Alecto | The Girl in the Tomb
... John turned the soul of the planet Earth into a Renaissance painting/Hollywood Hair Barbie inspired blonde babe and she hates it. How could I not want all the interpretations of what that looks like? Give me a portrait full of symbolism, or a scene from any point in what we know of her existence ... as she was when accompanying John across a barren apocalyptic planet, or as his cavalier, or entombed in her coffin. I am rapt.

Batman & Superman & Wonder Woman
I love these three as friends, especially when there is teasing and hijinks (and especially especially when Clark and Diana gang up on Bruce). They are prime candidates for art of domestic/secret identity scenarios and shenanigans, imagining them at different ages, etc. Action/team-up art and cool portraits triptychs are cool too! (I do ship Bruce/Clark, but am really more interested in gen at present.)
Diana Prince & Etta Candy, Diana Prince/Etta Candy
I grew up with my mother's Golden Age reprints, and fell in love with the original Etta in all her indomitable, unapologetic short, fat, redheaded glory. She's some of the best of the lighthearted goofiness you often saw in those old issues, and I love her easy friendship with Diana (someone who might easily intimidate the hell out of most "normal" folks) and the way she'd often wind up rescuing her.
This pair could be a great opportunity to play with vintage fashion and hairdos!(I'm also totally down with a more modern take--I hear there's been a Black Etta recently, which is great--but I'd really really prefer that she stay fat.) Something in the wacky, over-the-top tone of the Golden Age, or something more serious/realistic ... Etta saving Diana from a villain, or the two of them teaming up, or in a secret identity context (or even an undercover context, at a fancy party or an underground casino or who knows what) ... whatever you like! I enjoy them equally as friends or as a ship.
They could also be a fun opportunity to play with vintage lingerie, corsets or fetishwear, classic pin-up art (or photography - Bettie Page, anyone?) styles and tropes, and so forth. The connection between Wonder Woman and kink is hard to deny. (I kind of fancy the notion of Etta topping, though I could go either way.)
Selina Kyle & Holly Robinson, Selina Kyle/Holly Robinson
I fell in love with their friendship/teamwork in the first four volumes of Ed Brubaker’s Catwoman run! Something set/based on that would be the BEST. I have a few specific prompts, if you'd like one:

For most of these characters/pairings (barring the first two, I guess), I have a particular soft spot for the Claremont era (1980s & early 90s X-books). I'm intrigued by more recent stuff (say, the last decade and a half or so) as well, though far less conversant in it.
America Chavez & Kamala Khan
Honestly, I just think a team-up between this pair would be neat! (They both have some really visually interesting aspects to their powers--I love America kicking star-shaped holes between worlds, and there’s Kamala’s, well, everything.) I’m also definitely here for America flirting with a flustered (in a good way, hopefully) Kamala.
Doreen Green & Kraven the Hunter
I just can’t ever get enough of Squirrel Girl throwing Kraven into the air over and over again because she didn’t know what to do with him. Seriously. Really, he’s just such a perfect pratfall victim/foil for her; any scenario where she’s getting the better of him in an unnecessarily humorous and slapstick fashion would be fabulous.
A possible fun thing: any silly ”Kraven the College Administrator” scenario! (so uh. I work in admin at a university and I always find this very random joke unreasonably delightful.)
Brian Braddock & Kitty Pryde & Kurt Wagner & Meggan & Rachel Summers
Excalibur team--and ROOMMATE--dynamics! They love each other, and they drive each other bonkers. Any sort of scenario you want to cook up illustrating that dichotomy would be super fun. I’m especially into domestic scenarios, like a movie night or chatting/bickering over breakfast.
Or, posing awkwardly for an unexpected post-caper press photo that they couldn’t get away from in time. Possibly while disheveled or covered in alternate-dimensional mollusks or something goofy and embarrassing like that.
Or, combo with my Kitty/Rachel request: Kurt, Brian and Meggan accidentally walk in on Rachel & Kitty smooching

Prime candidates for any kind of early/mid-20th century stylistic pastiche, historical costuming, settings, etc! (I especially love explorations of their early days, falling in love and engaging in espionage …)
Familial scenes involving Rogue (whether as a cute little kiddo, or a budding teen supervillain) would also be quite welcome!
Jean Grey/Logan Howlett/Scott Summers
I crave cuddles, domesticity, and affectionate teasing here; general non-angsty (about the relationship, at least!) polyamorous comfort. Anything that particularly underscores the fact that Logan is the shortest or where he is the one being taken care of/in the middle/being teased is especially loved. (Also anything showing him being perfectly comfortable in a frilly apron or other very non-toxically-masculine context!) Use of powers in a mundane setting is always fun (although I feel somewhat strongly about Cyke’s eyebeams not causing heat/flame, for the record - I imprinted on the whole BEAMS OF PURE FORCE interpretation there).
Jubilation Lee & Tabitha Smith
The explosion-powered obnoxious late-80s/early 90s slang-slinging teen team-up we deserved but never (to my knowledge) had! I’m a little fixated on the era they were both introduced … arcade games, malls, absurd 80s fashion … would enjoy them in a position of friendly rivalry or as a team, in battle or a more “mundane” context (not that anything either of them does can really be classified as “mundane”)
Kitty Pryde/Rachel Summers
My most enduring OTP, going back to before I really even knew what subtext was (and wasn't too aware of queerness either). I have a particular affection for their earliest days together in the X-Men, and for all of Ray's time on Excalibur (my favorite cape book ever, by a mile), but I'm down for any era. Here are some prompts, if you feel like one--also, because I request them often and generally have a lot of feelings, you can find plenty more (and rambles, thoughts, and old art) under my X-Men tag.
I just want cute/funny art of them being siblings, especially where they are both adults. Great big hugs! Rachel giving Nate an affectionate noogie! The pair of them playing telekinetic tug-of-war with some mundane object or having a silly but ultimately affectionate argument or rivalry.
Alternatively, Excalibur-era Phoenix!Rachel protecting baby!Nate from a threat (real or perceived).

Basically, my original blorbo. I'm not there very much lately, but she has her own tag on my tumblr which may give you some idea of that. ;)

Our Flag Means Death
Alma Bonnet & Blackbeard
I'm a sucker for a kid like Alma (much more into playing pirates than her brother, a bit too aware of what's what where her parents are concerned, smart and blunt), and Ed is the kind of character who I'd really enjoy paired with a child. I think he'd probably be more likely to banter/argue with them than baby them, be a bit overwhelmed by them, and maybe be surprised by his own tender/nurturing feelings. So I'm imagining sword fighting pointers (possibly to Stede's delight/dismay), dealing with a stowaway situation, carrying a sleepy, worn-out stowaway/hellion to a makeshift bed in Stede's cabin ... shenanigans with a side of cute, but not too schmaltzy.
Blackbeard & Lucius Spriggs

These two and their pyramid scheme - one of my favorite little side plots in the whole show. I love them as partners in crime, and also think that Frenchie talking Oluwande into things is generally an entertaining notion. (Plus, Frenchie just needs more love - and Oluwande deserves ALL the love.) Do with that what you will?
Jim Jiminez/Oluwande Boodhari
Oh, my heart. Here are two ideas:
Hot psuedo/former-nemesis chemistry, they have it. More of one or the other of them being shoved up against walls/furniture, knives at throats, all that deliciousness, would be wonderful. I'm here for either one of them having the upper hand, or turning the tables. Conversely, getting drunk and handsy together would be fun too.
Mary Bonnet & Stede Bonnet
I really enjoyed that bit towards the end of the last episode where they finally start talking honestly to each other, are happy for each other in re: finding love with someone else, and even team up for some A-grade fuckery. And I mean, they were forced into their marriage and unhappy together, but for all that, they spent a lot of time together and in some respects probably know each other better than anyone else. I'd really love to see more of them being (somewhat pricky/bantery, perhaps) friends. Mary getting pulled into some pirate shenanigans and being really ticked off about it, but also rolling up her sleeves and helping out in some way (possibly while being more competent, than Stede at least) could be fun, or having Stede pose for a painting (in a friendly sort of way, or maybe finding out that he was posing to be a corpse or something else rather undignified), or ... I don't know, but I want them to like each other?

Stranger Things
I am all about the 80s pop culture references and pastiches for this fandom!
Eleven & Max Mayfield
I loved their friendship in season three so much. (I do ship it, a bit, but mostly at a crushes-and-tentative-handholding sort of level.) Just ... anything with them having fun together will bring me joy. Also very here for fix-its where El is able to save Max from Vecna before the damage is done, possibly wherein they team up to kick his ass inside Max's head ... or where El is able to help Max wake up/visit her in her coma. (Feelings.)
Nancy Wheeler
Nancy's character has grown a lot over the seasons, and that makes me really happy. I especially loved this most recent version of her; the intrepid, no-nonsense (high school) reporter, out for the story, and ready to fight. I love her being a badass, with the pen even more than with the sword (well, gun), and I'm here for art portraying either. It would be cool to imagine her a few years in the future, as well.
Nancy Wheeler/Robin Buckley
I ship it so hard. The way they play off each other delights me (obviously, the episode where they go undercover together is such a favorite). I just kind of want all the tropey bullshit with them teaming up to, IDK, ghost hunt, solve mysteries, investigate corruption ... smooch?
Thinking about queer culture and era-appropriate pop culture and the like, I'd also love to see them dressed up to attend a Rocky Horror screening together (Nancy’s probably a “virgin”).
Erica Sinclair
More Erica, please - I love a tiny badass, saving the older boys' butts, and being a humongous (initially) secret nerd (and making it look cool). A portrait of her as a D&D/My Little Pony mashup character could be pretty fabulous, I'm just saying.
Joyce Byers
I had a gigantic crush on Winona Ryder when I was a baby queer, and some things don't go away. Speaking of badasses! She deserves heroic portraits, and to be recognized for Being Right, etc.
Suzie Bingham
We've only seen a little of her, but I'm charmed (the Neverending Story theme didn't hurt - I was obsessed with that movie when I was little). She, too, deserves heroic portraits. Soft early hacker nerd girl, and fantasy fan in the golden age of the fantasy film (my childhood)! There's a lot to play with there.

What is says on the tin! Any of the deeply ridiculous (generally single-episode) themed monsters the girls fought would delight me - especially the ones from the 90s anime. The flashy leaders and henchmen, the recurring villains, get plenty of attention. I’m looking for the foot soldiers; the droids, the cardians, the lemures, etc!
Creator’s Choice of 3 or more Sailor Senshi
Art of any of the senshi being teammates and friends (and sometimes rivals) together makes me incredibly happy; whether it’s a domestic scene, past or future royalty, or the Sailor Team. There are so many combinations you can choose from! Here are some ideas for what they could be doing together:
supporting each other in battle a series of Polaroid-style snapshots from daily life dressed up in Halloween costumes a slumber party, “study” party, or movie night, with attendant snuggling/bickering/goofing off/expressing disapproval etc as princesses (or guardians, possibly with their Princess) in the Silver Millenium, hanging out/engaging in some kind of leisure activity in complimentary/themed redesigned costumes as adults in the near future as adults in Crystal Tokyo
Literally any scene of them being a family would be amazing! Here are a few ideas:
Haruka/Michiru & Usagia domestic scene, especially one that compares/contrasts the different styles/personalities of the three adult senshi. In the kitchen at breakfast time, for instance. Doing chores/laundry. Hotaru’s bedtime. snuggled up on the couch together after a long day/battle. Michiru, Setsuna and Hotaru congratulating a smug Haruka after a race! Haruka, Setsuna and Hotaru bringing a gracious Michiru an ENORMOUS bouquet of flowers at the end of a performance, in fancy clothing. Michiru, Haruka and Setsuna admiring Hotaru’s project at a school science fair. Possibly while other students/parents look on in awe.
I love the dynamic between these three in early Sailor Moon S, whether the 90s anime or manga/Crystal - the two Outers seeming so aloof and glamorous, and Usagi all flustered and admiring. Haruka’s flirtation, and Michiru’s amusement. (And in the manga/Crystal, a bit more of a sense of their duty to the Princess, and what that does and does not mean in terms of her wishes and their mission.) I’d love to see what you do with that!

Discworld - Terry Pratchett
I still haven't read all the Discworld books, though I've gotten closer in recent years. They're often my comfort material of choice (generally in audiobook format), especially the City Watch and Tiffany Aching stories, though I'm also especially fond of the Witches and the Industrial Revolution sub-series. If you feel like bringing other characters/context, please do feel free!
The Nac Mac Feegle
I like a lot of things about the Tiffany Aching series, but the Feegles absolutely steal the show--and my heart--every time. A group of them being rowdy together, Daft Wullie crying “waily waily,” Rob Anybody looking awkward and half-embarrassed by his band of miscreants, terrorizing farm animals or hapless pub patrons … there are so many things you could doodle that would just delight me.
Canon illustrations would be fun, if you want! I’m especially fond of a couple of early scenes from Wee Free Men; the one where they try to fight the dolls and toys in Tiffany’s dollhouse, and the one where they pretend to be baby birds and terrorize Ratbag the cat. CHEEP!
Jack Jackrum
A (somewhat deceptively) complicated and fascinating character who could use more fandom love! I'd enjoy nearly anything here, whether it's a canon illustration or an extrapolation or what have you. Jackrum mentoring Polly (and/or making her very uncomfortable with the realities of war) is a favorite dynamic; I'd also love to see scenes from his younger days (maybe especially any of those famous rescues of other soldiers), him with his (newly-reunited) family/grandkids, that portrait in the locket, etc.
Maladict
I mean, who can resist a smartass, androgynous vampire, right? You can't really go wrong here, honestly ... unsurprisingly, I especially love her interactions with Polly (and absolutely ship it, although I tend to be especially into it when Mal is teasing/annoying Polly, rather than anything super sweet), and I'm a big fan of her ridiculous coffee-withdrawal hallucinations and uniform modifications. Pre- and post-canon stuff would be cool too!
Sybil Ramkin
I just ... I love her so much. I love her mix of upper class manners and blind spots and her willingness to see herself on fairly equal footing with all manner of watchmen and miscreants, her kindness and her stubborn badass streak, her love for Sam and her determination to a) take care of him/help him take care of himself and b) not allow him to protect her too much, damn it, and of course, her love of absurd, dangerous, stinky, unlovely swamp dragons. A portrait of her with her beloved dragons, a scene of her getting all indignant and ready to show that she's tough and she can take it, an interaction with Sam, something with her and some of the female watchmen ... anything with this queen will fill me with joy.

Dracula - Bram Stoker
Fandom-specific DNW: Implied Dracula/Mina or Dracula/Lucy. I don’t see them as being into him.
Like a good chunk of the internet, I just finished Dracula Daily. It wasn't my first time reading the novel, but I really enjoyed the format, and got freshly and deeply invested in the characters! As is characteristic of me, I am especially into fanworks about the women (and especially riled up at the character assassination of poor Lucy in so many subsequent adaptations). So.
I am up for fix-its/canon AUs, tragedy, reimagining the nature of vampirism, or just all the spooky Victorian Gothic you feel like drawing!
Oh, and I've just realized - this fandom is an exception to my "depictions of character death" DNW! Apologies for not amending that in my sign-up.
Lucy Westenra, Mina Murray, Lucy & Mina, Lucy/Mina
I absolutely ship it, surprising no one. (This is one of those cases where my infidelity DNW could apply, although really, only if you do on-panel art with Jonathan crying off in the corner because Mina's cheating on him or something. Please don't do that. I'm perfectly willing to handwave anything else as consensual nonmonogamy--something I'm totally down for with all our heroes!--or a slight AU where a given canon couple isn't together.) Cuddles at the Whitby graveyard, a heroic Mina rushing in to rescue Lucy in the nick of time in some way (whether by blood transfusion, staying by her side all night, facing down the wolf and/or the Count, or what have you), vampire!Lucy seducing Mina, Mina accepting/comforting a less ~demonic/not-herself vampire!Lucy) ... there are so many things I would enjoy there.
I'd also very much enjoy canon illustrations of scenes with the two of them together, or scenes focused on either of them (though I'd prefer Mina being competent/brave/scared but resolute over anything where she breaks down crying, especially with Van Helsing). Portraits of Lucy with garlic flowers or in her coffin, of Mina taking notes/doing detectivework with newspapers and timetables, and/or with the burn scar on her forehead ... yes please.
I'm not super excited about the idea of vampire!Mina (especially not as vampire women are portrayed by Stoker, as sexy cyphers with little remaining of their original selves), though as briefly noted above, I'm 100% here for vampire!Lucy (whether as portrayed canonically or with added nuance).

I am fascinated by these two, and by lingering questions I have about the nature of their connection. (Especially: when Harrow was "hallucinating" her beloved "Body," was the actual Alecto's consciousness involved??)
I'm super into canon illustrations/extrapolations on what we know from canon, here. Wee!Harrow seeing Alecto in the Tomb for the first time. Her various hallucinations throughout HtN (maybe especially the Body "holding" her). That (bloody, biting) wake-up kiss! Alecto swearing fealty! What even was Harrow's FACE doing during all of that?
Cytherea the First & Gideon Nav
I pretty much want all the art of Cytherea-as-Dulcinea having ALL KINDS OF FUN oh-so-innocently making Gideon blush and do butch services for her, you know? Whether it's an illustration directly from canon (like the bit where Cytherea sees her eyes for the first time), fetching/carrying/holding a parasol ... maybe even carrying Cytherea ... or a blushing Gideon stumbling through a steamy bit of a romance novel, which she's reading to a slyly smiling or “innocently” FASCINATED Cytherea. ;)
Gideon Nav & Jeannemary Chatur
I'm mostly into the cuteness of Jeannemary idolizing Gideon (admiring her biceps!), before all the tragedy struck, although if you'd like to draw Gideon rescuing/holding back a distraught Jeannemary, I'm down for that too.
One goofy scenario I've been mulling over and enjoying: Gideon, having lost her sunglasses, discovers Jeannemary has “borrowed” them/is doing some kind of Gideon impression etc (probably for an unimpressed Isaac).
Gideon Nav & Nona
All that tension and confusion was just electrifying and heart-rending in equal measure. I don't ship them (I can't really ship Nona with anyone, personally; she just feels too young for me to want anything more than maybe a little puppy love/crushing to happen for her, I guess), but the scene where Nona kisses Gideon and Gideon has that awful, huge range of emotional responses (from yearning to disbelief to WTF you're not her time to be a depressed asshole) is incredible and something I'd love to see any number of visual interpretations of. Also the two of them generally being uncomfortable with/around each other, or maybe teaming up/having a teammate sort of moment while dealing with an external threat or remark that annoys them both ... just, show me the weird, fraught, so-many-kinds-of-painful dynamic between two characters who excel at varying degrees of sass and cheerful, but who are deeply, deeply wounded and really not especially able to mask it anymore. /rambles

They are (unfortunately?) my OTP. I love art set at any point in their shared timeline, am fascinated by their friction and their duality and two long books of helpless, hopeless yearning in various forms, and also really enjoy all the humor (especially as it relates to Gideon). So here's a mishmash of prompts I've dreamt up at various points on this journey to date, should you want to take one for a spin:

I did NOT see the dynamic these two have in NtN coming at ALL, and I am intrigued. I'd love to see them together between the end of HtN and their appearance on the scene in NtN; initial humorous hostility, bro-y makeouts, friendship bracelet making (how did that come about/what was Ianthe's initial reaction to the idea?), genderbending, sparring, playing drinking games, half-serious flirting/flirtation chicken ... have fun with it? (I don't mind if it doesn't turn out precisely shippy, although I requested a ship tag. I'm happy with a range of dynamics, though I'm not exactly seeing True Love in this pair.)
Harrowhark Nonagesimus & Palamedes Sextus
I love their weird, often grudging, competitive friendship, and I am heartbroken that we'll never exactly get to see it again. I'm mostly imagining mid-GtN art of them doing their thing; having some kind of VERY PASSIONATE nerdy argument over a scroll, or a bone, or something maybe. Palamedes giving a surprised/stiff/possibly reluctantly pleased Harrow a side/shoulder hug. Etc.
The Body | Alecto | The Girl in the Tomb
... John turned the soul of the planet Earth into a Renaissance painting/Hollywood Hair Barbie inspired blonde babe and she hates it. How could I not want all the interpretations of what that looks like? Give me a portrait full of symbolism, or a scene from any point in what we know of her existence ... as she was when accompanying John across a barren apocalyptic planet, or as his cavalier, or entombed in her coffin. I am rapt.

I love these three as friends, especially when there is teasing and hijinks (and especially especially when Clark and Diana gang up on Bruce). They are prime candidates for art of domestic/secret identity scenarios and shenanigans, imagining them at different ages, etc. Action/team-up art and cool portraits triptychs are cool too! (I do ship Bruce/Clark, but am really more interested in gen at present.)
Diana Prince & Etta Candy, Diana Prince/Etta Candy
I grew up with my mother's Golden Age reprints, and fell in love with the original Etta in all her indomitable, unapologetic short, fat, redheaded glory. She's some of the best of the lighthearted goofiness you often saw in those old issues, and I love her easy friendship with Diana (someone who might easily intimidate the hell out of most "normal" folks) and the way she'd often wind up rescuing her.
This pair could be a great opportunity to play with vintage fashion and hairdos!(I'm also totally down with a more modern take--I hear there's been a Black Etta recently, which is great--but I'd really really prefer that she stay fat.) Something in the wacky, over-the-top tone of the Golden Age, or something more serious/realistic ... Etta saving Diana from a villain, or the two of them teaming up, or in a secret identity context (or even an undercover context, at a fancy party or an underground casino or who knows what) ... whatever you like! I enjoy them equally as friends or as a ship.
They could also be a fun opportunity to play with vintage lingerie, corsets or fetishwear, classic pin-up art (or photography - Bettie Page, anyone?) styles and tropes, and so forth. The connection between Wonder Woman and kink is hard to deny. (I kind of fancy the notion of Etta topping, though I could go either way.)

I fell in love with their friendship/teamwork in the first four volumes of Ed Brubaker’s Catwoman run! Something set/based on that would be the BEST. I have a few specific prompts, if you'd like one:

I just can’t ever get enough of Squirrel Girl throwing Kraven into the air over and over again because she didn’t know what to do with him. Seriously. Anything that particularly underscores the fact that Logan is the shortest or where he is the one being taken care of/in the middle/being teased is especially loved. (Also anything showing him being perfectly comfortable in a frilly apron or other very non-toxically-masculine context!) Use of powers in a mundane setting is always fun (although I feel somewhat strongly about Cyke’s eyebeams not causing heat/flame, for the record - I imprinted on the whole BEAMS OF PURE FORCE interpretation there).

The explosion-powered obnoxious late-80s/early 90s slang-slinging teen team-up we deserved but never (to my knowledge) had! I’m a little fixated on the era they were both introduced … arcade games, malls, absurd 80s fashion … would enjoy them in a position of friendly rivalry or as a team, in battle or a more “mundane” context (not that anything either of them does can really be classified as “mundane”)
Kitty Pryde/Rachel Summers
My most enduring OTP, going back to before I really even knew what subtext was (and wasn't too aware of queerness either). I have a particular affection for their earliest days together in the X-Men, and for all of Ray's time on Excalibur (my favorite cape book ever, by a mile), but I'm down for any era. I'm a sucker for a kid like Alma (much more into playing pirates than her brother, a bit too aware of what's what where her parents are concerned, smart and blunt), and Ed is the kind of character who I'd really enjoy paired with a child. I think he'd probably be more likely to banter/argue with them than baby them, be a bit overwhelmed by them, and maybe be surprised by his own tender/nurturing feelings. These two and their pyramid scheme - one of my favorite little side plots in the whole show. I love them as partners in crime, and also think that Frenchie talking Oluwande into things is generally an entertaining notion. (Plus, Frenchie just needs more love - and Oluwande deserves ALL the love.) Do with that what you will?

Jim Jimenez/Spanish JackieJim wooing Olu in some way (possibly attempting dashing but also kind of embarrassed and shabby - like trying to give him a dilapidated flower) Olu murmuring sweet nothings into Jim’s ear in Spanish while Jim tries to look like they aren’t interested in that sappy nonsense
Hot psuedo/former-nemesis chemistry, they have it. More of one or the other of them being shoved up against walls/furniture, knives at throats, all that deliciousness, would be wonderful. I'm here for either one of them having the upper hand, or turning the tables. Conversely, getting drunk and handsy together would be fun too.
Mary Bonnet & Stede Bonnet
I really enjoyed that bit towards the end of the last episode where they finally start talking honestly to each other, are happy for each other in re: finding love with someone else, and even team up for some A-grade fuckery. And I mean, they were forced into their marriage and unhappy together, but for all that, they spent a lot of time together and in some respects probably know each other better than anyone else. I'd really love to see more of them being (somewhat pricky/bantery, perhaps) friends. Mary getting pulled into some pirate shenanigans and being really ticked off about it, but also rolling up her sleeves and helping out in some way (possibly while being more competent, than Stede at least) could be fun, or having Stede pose for a painting (in a friendly sort of way, or maybe finding out that he was posing to be a corpse or something else rather undignified), or ... I don't know, but I want them to like each other?
Stede Bonnet & Any Member(s) of the Crew of the Revenge
Because there are so many fun dynamics to be had! Here are a few thoughts about various combinations:
Storytime! A group image of Stede telling the crew a story, or a closer-in angle on one particular pirate reacting to what he’s reading, etc Stede and Frenchie singing together (while Frenchie plays) - any of the rest of the crew can come too Stede wincing under Roach’s surprisingly delicate ministrations while he sews up a small cut on the Captain’s forehead Stede with Jim and Olu, who are giving him … dramatically different advice on something (Ed? An upcoming battle?) Stede enjoying/joining in on some kind of theatrical/operatic performance with Black Pete and the Swede (and maybe a very exasperated Lucius) Stede offering a delighted Wee John and Frenchie a selection of cushions or a small rug or some other piece of small, ludicrously fancy decor for their room Stede listening with some concern to Buttons rambling about sea monsters or merpeople or similar (possibly with Frenchie in the background agreeing wisely, or Roach looking worried, or Lucius looking exasperated)

I loved their friendship in season three so much. (I do ship it, a bit, but mostly at a crushes-and-tentative-handholding sort of level.) Just ... anything with them having fun together will bring me joy. Also very here for fix-its where El is able to save Max from Vecna before the damage is done, possibly wherein they team up to kick his ass inside Max's head ... or where El is able to help Max wake up/visit her in her coma. (Feelings.)
Nancy Wheeler
Nancy's character has grown a lot over the seasons, and that makes me really happy. I especially loved this most recent version of her; the intrepid, no-nonsense (high school) reporter, out for the story, and ready to fight. I love her being a badass, with the pen even more than with the sword (well, gun), and I'm here for art portraying either. It would be cool to imagine her a few years in the future, as well.
Nancy Wheeler/Robin Buckley
I ship it so hard. The way they play off each other delights me (obviously, the episode where they go undercover together is such a favorite). I just kind of want all the tropey bullshit with them teaming up to, IDK, ghost hunt, solve mysteries, investigate corruption ... smooch?
Thinking about queer culture and era-appropriate pop culture and the like, I'd also love to see them dressed up to attend a Rocky Horror screening together (Nancy’s probably a “virgin”).

More Erica, please - I love a tiny badass, saving the older boys' butts, and being a humongous (initially) secret nerd (and making it look cool). A portrait of her as a D&D/My Little Pony mashup character could be pretty fabulous, I'm just saying.

I had a gigantic crush on Winona Ryder when I was a baby queer, and some things don't go away. Speaking of badasses! She deserves heroic portraits, and to be recognized for Being Right, etc.
Suzie Bingham
We've only seen a little of her, but I'm charmed (the Neverending Story theme didn't hurt - I was obsessed with that movie when I was little). She, too, deserves heroic portraits. Soft early hacker nerd girl, and fantasy fan in the golden age of the fantasy film (my childhood)! There's a lot to play with there.

These pretty much speak for themselves, for the most part - even for me, the excessively wordy (see all of the above). I have a couple very quick notes, but really. "Go wild," as they say. ;)
(Some ideas for cool outfit themes I’d particularly love: outer space, underwater life, birds, dinosaurs … but if you have another idea, run with it!!)
(I especially enjoy garden/farm-working nuns! And I am very much not against clandestine nun/nun romance, ahem - although I’m totally here for platonic nun dynamics too. Nuns of significantly different ages could be especially fun for platonic dynamics! Okay, I'm done!)
