'cause this ain't no time for the blues

I know, it's [livejournal.com profile] yuletide spam 24/7 around here.

See, now there's a list of fandoms up! (Albeit, one that's being trimmed. How the hell did Lost wind up on there in the first place?) Being just slightly obsessive (or just needing something to distract me from my nerves--I'm going to be employed tomorrow for the first time in a few months, it's weird), I've already gone through it.

An uncut and definitely over-optimistic list of fandoms I might offer:

Arthurian Legend
Bible – Hebrew Bible or Old Testament
Bible – New Testament
But I’m A Cheerleader
Castle Waiting ---> so pleased that someone wound up nominating this, since I didn't
CS Lewis – Chronicles of Narnia
Diana Wynne Jones – Castle series AKA Howl series
Dogma
Dykes To Watch Out For
Elfquest
Empire Records
Excalibur (1998 comic)
Fairy Tales (trad)
Finder (comic) ---> I can hardly believe that someone else nominated this. Yay!
Frances Hodgson Burnett – The Secret Garden
Fray
From Eroica With Love
Howls Moving Castle (movie)
Jesus Christ Superstar
Lucifer (comic)
Mirrormask ---> since I finally watched it
Mythology – Greek and Roman
Nancy Drew mysteries
Neil Gaiman – Murder Mysteries
Neil Gaiman – Stardust (book or comic)
Prince of Egypt
The Queen and the Soldier (song) ---> ooh, I would never have thought of this. nifty idea.
Runaways (comic)
Sandman (comic)
Saved
Stardust (movie)
Strangers in Paradise
Tanith Lee – Piratica
Vertigo (movie)
Young Avengers
Young Justice

I can't believe that Peter Pan wasn't nominated this year, in any form!

Some of these are going to be way too much of a stretch, and a couple I just don't think I feel like doing. I won't be posting the final list, though. ;) Don't want to give too much away.

I might actually post about something other than [livejournal.com profile] yuletide at some point? I can't really do art right now, being Photoshopless (my new Mac is not compatible with my old copy of the program), but since I've been feeling excessively fannish . . . maybe I'll start doing TV reactions or something. I haven't done those in years, and I have plenty of shows right now.

I'm looking forward to the Bionic Woman premiere tonight. Mmmm, Katee Sackhoff. (I really have to start watching Battlestar Galactica already.)
