I haven't paid a lot of attention to the Flashpoint event itself (I hate company-wide events as a rule, ugh, boring and histrionic and forcing you to buy a dozen titles you wouldn't ordinarily read in order to follow the story). But this "relaunching 52 titles from #1" thing ... I agree that the DCU needs some major changes, but mostly as far as inclusiveness and telling better stories goes? They still seem to be spotlighting mostly white & male heroes, looking at that Justice League illustration that's being slapped on all the press (even though they are giving Mr. Terrific his own book, and apparently there are another seven League members not shown). And I just ... don't have any particular confidence that yet another massive melodramatic "EVERYTHING CHANGES" publicity stunt will actually lead to better storytelling ... but we'll see?
(This sort of thing makes me particularly worried about legacy characters to whom I'm attached; what if relaunching these titles means going back to a lot of "originals"? Then again, DC's claiming "more diversity." IDEK. So much fuss.)
