I have an enormous soft spot for the whole 'Outer Senshi family' dynamic, and would love something sweet, domestic, or silly about Hotaru's three mothers navigating their relationship and learning how to parent a magical, fast-developing baby soldier of destruction. (Or teenaged soldier of destruction, for that matter!)

I could imagine and would be open to any number of relationship configurations between the three older senshi; I certainly see Michiru and Haruka as being romantic and sexual partners, but how Setsuna is included in that is up to you! (Her relationship to one or both of them could be sexual, romantic, both, or neither; as long as all three have a strong emotional connection and partnership!)

Fic prompts:

Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna have a (bedtime?) storytelling competition, with Hotaru as audience and judge.

Two of the older senshi are out of the house for one reason or another, leaving the third home with Hotaru. A crisis develops (a loose/lost tooth? being asked where babies come from? weird Saturn vision/power manifestation?) that this hapless third parent struggles to cope with, while the other two are off obliviously enjoying themselves and/or taking care of business, perhaps with fond thoughts of what their daughter and partner might be up to at the same time.

What kind of elaborate bedtime routine does little Hotaru demand from her moms? How thoroughly does she have each of them wrapped around her finger, in spite of attempts at discipline and firmness?

Art prompts:

a domestic scene of some sort, especially one that compares/contrasts their styles/personalities. in the kitchen at breakfast time, for instance. doing chores/laundry. Hotaru's bedtime.

Kaiou Michiru/Tenoh Haruka & Tsukino Usagi
I’ve always enjoyed Haruka’s outrageous flirting with the Inners, Usagi in particular, the very flustered responses she gets, and the way Michiru can either join in, or tease and fluster her in turn. I'd love to see more of that dynamic, and would equally enjoy something where it stops at teasing and flirting, or where it goes a bit ... further. (The combination of a slight age gap dynamic/potential sexual initiation, and the whole fealty/loyal retainers relationship, strikes me as quite appealing.)

Fic prompts:

Usagi (or Serenity) goes to them for help/advice about romance and/or sex. "Practice" kissing, flirting, dating, or more ensues; or perhaps an attempt to provide advice via stories about Haruka and/or Michiru's experiences (leading to some embarrassment and glee from various parties)?

Haruka & Michiru are giving Usagi a ride; she feels excited and nervous as she often does when alone with them, the conversation turns suggestive, and they’re on a lonely stretch of road overlooking the ocean ... how far does the teasing go?

In the Silver Millennium: the Guardians of the Outer Solar System, rarely seen on the Moon, visit for a banquet or a ball or a military strategy meeting or some such thing. Princess Serenity is FASCINATED by these extremely cool older girls. Antics and hero worship (and probably flirting) ensue.

In the Silver Millennium: the Guardians of the Outer Solar System visit the Moon and are clearly in the process of falling in love with each other (which must be somewhat difficult, given how long-distance they are most of the time), much to Princess Serenity’s fascination. (Their developing romance with her as a viewpoint character!)

Art prompts:

Haruka and Michiru tag-team teasing an obviously very flustered Usagi, leaning in close, enjoying themselves (in the car, at the Fruits Parlor Crown, at the arcade, out on the street ...)

These two are just adorable, for all that their canon relationship encompasses time travel, one character dying, coming back as a baby, and aging rapidly, and all kinds of shenanigans. Not to mention, fighting evil as children. (Also, visually - I really love the pink/purple and/or cheerful princess/waifish goth aesthetic dichotomy, in its various permutations.) There's a lot to play with!

Fic Prompts:

Time travel follies! Set towards the end of the series or a bit after, poor Hotaru's head is spinning; she's being visited by ChibiUsas of a couple of different ages, one who is still a bit too young and not ready for a romantic relationship, and one a bit older and VERY ready for it.

Shock! Scandal! The heir to Crystal Tokyo's secret romance with the Soldier of Destruction REVEALED to the public for the first time!! (Someone in the press thinks it's a scandal, anyway?)

Art Prompts:

The Girls I’ve Been - Tess Sharpe - Fic
Lee Ann O’Malley/Agent Marjorie North & Nora O’Malley

I wrote a promo post for this book for Yuletide, because it's fantastic; definitely one of the stand-outs from all my 2021 reading.

While I absolutely loved the relationship between the kids (and would welcome the inclusion of Iris and Wes if you feel so moved), the thing that grabbed me hardest was the sisterly relationship, and the complicated, painful history that Lee Ann had with the FBI agent she ruthlessly used to help free and protect her sister (in spite of falling in love with her). There was clearly so much complexity between “Amy” and Marjorie, unresolved feelings, history, betrayal … the book barely scratched the surface of them. And while Lee and Nora’s bond was a (favorite) feature, I think there’s plenty to explore in the difficult, devoted relationship between sisters who barely knew each other for years, whose lives were based very deliberately around lies, and who managed to build something real together in spite of it all.

SO tantalizing, srsly.

Prompts:

The Amelia and Marjorie story, from either perspective (or both), in whole or in part. Amelia’s long con (and how intentional/planned from the beginning it was - seems like something of an open question). Marjorie falling in love with this somewhat prickly, difficult (but charming when she wanted to be) PI (was she already a PI?), only to have things get stranger and stranger as she’s manipulated, mined for information, and finally betrayed/used as a tool for Amelia’s goals. Maybe some expansion on her feelings/opinions about Nora, as things develop? And the pain/recriminations/regrets/love between them in the aftermath (the hotel post-escape, the trial, the sisters’ disappearance). Do they ever see each other again? Is there any kind of closure?

At the end of the novel, Nora has partially outed herself to her mother (and therefore, her stepfather/a wider criminal community). What if Agent North gets wind of something? What if she finds them? What happens when she comes crashing (back) into Lee’s--Amy’s--Amelia’s life?

The Locked Tomb Series - Tamsyn Muir - Fic

Abigail & Dulcinea
Canon left me wanting so much more of both of these characters individually, and I'm intrigued by the possibilities for off-page time together in Harrow the Ninth. Of the ghosts who make up Harrow's little AU cast, they're the two most dominant, opinionated personalities, and I'd love to see them as a team - or butting heads. (I would also absolutely read them hooking up.)

Prompts:

behind-the-scenes (from Harrow’s perspective) in the alternate Canaan House play/death bubble; the story of Abigail figuring out what’s going on, taking charge, and either working with Dulcinea, or encountering some friction from that quarter. Does Dulcinea agree with Abigail about the best course of action (in general or in a given scenario)?

Where was Dulcinea in the non-Canaan-House AUs? A snapshot of her and Abigail interacting in/commenting on one of those contexts, with their different perspectives, would be really fun!

pre-canon, we know that most of the house heirs knew each other, even though it's evident that Dulcinea didn't really travel away from Rhodes (given that she and Palamedes never got to actually meet in person). It would be fascinating to read about Abigail (as a historian, and a more independent adult) visiting the Seventh House on some kind of research, collaborative, or social venture (with or without Magnus - who I love) and meeting/observing Dulcinea while she was alive. Abigail's perspective and insights on Dulcinea's personality and circumstances could be really fascinating.

Abigail/Magnus & Isaac & Jeannemary
The pseudo-parental relationship Abigail & Magnus had with the 4th teens in Gideon the Ninth was such a source of delight to me (especially each and every time Magnus embarrassed Jeannemary), and I just shamelessly want MORE of that.

Prompts:

Abigail and Magnus attend some kind of ceremony or event in Isaac and/or Jeannemary's honor (achievement of a military rank/level of swordswomanship? a coming of age event/birthday party? some kind of necromancer graduation?) and just embarrass the hell out of them. With love.

Younger Abigail and Magnus look after Isaac and Jeannemary at some kind of House leadership event where the little 4th tots are in danger of getting underfoot.

Jeannemary has some agonizing adolescent experience, probably a first crush or something. Magnus and Isaac try to be helpful, supportive, and/or give advice, and are both disastrous at it. Abigail is actually helpful. (Or, alternately - Abigail and Isaac try to be helpful, supportive, and/or give advice, and are disastrous, while Magnus is actually helpful. TBH, I could see this going either way!)

Gideon/Harrow/Ianthe
Ianthe’s insistence on flirting at Harrow and her semi-contemptuous bantering with Gideon both hold such delightful possibilities for poor hook-up choices, don’t they? I’m especially enamoured of scenarios which combine her with Gideon/Harrow body-sharing, in a bantering and/or sexy capacity … in my head, most of the following notions take place in a just slightly/conveniently canon-divergent version of HtN, but obviously that's not a requirement!

Prompts:

a scenario (another group dinner! A mission the two baby Lyctors are on alone together!) where Gideon and Harrow are actively body-sharing and they/Ianthe are flirting/arguing (probably creating considerable havoc, and if Ianthe and “Harrow” aren’t alone, desperate attempts to hide what's happening from their bemused elders)

body-sharing smut! Ianthe is having sex with Harrow, but Harrow and Gideon keep swapping control of Harrow’s body and doing things differently and everyone’s arguing but also super into it even if they’re trying to pretend like they’re not?

Ianthe and Gideon compete over who can successfully seduce Harrow. Possibly while Gideon and Harrow are sharing a body; possibly not. Either way, it winds up becoming a joint effort.

Ianthe attempts to seduce Harrow, not realizing that Harrow is “asleep” and she’s talking to Gideon instead. Rival sex ensues; Harrow wakes up at some point in the middle.

Two combinations where I would enjoy het or shippy art equally! I love their respective dynamics either way.

Diana & Etta, Diana/Etta
I grew up with my mom's Golden Age reprint Wonder Woman comics, and I love classic Etta; short, round, and unashamed. Fat, powerful, scrappy and confident! I very much want cute/fun art of her and Diana, whether it's set back in the 40s, the present day, or anywhere in between. (And whether you stick with her original redheaded version, or the more recent Black reimagining of the character - please don't slim her down!)

Prompts:

Etta rescues Wonder Woman, who has had yet another pesky chain welded between her bracelets, or is in some other sort of fix. (I love Etta as the cavalry!)

Sharing a kiss mid/post fight! Possibly while Etta is rescuing Wonder Woman.

Dressed to the nines at a fancy party or event, possibly while undercover together.

On a classic soda shoppe date!

Looking gorgeous in vintage lingerie, corsets or fetishwear; possibly while engaging in a spot of bondage (I kind of fancy the notion of Etta topping).

(I love their friendship/teamwork in the first four volumes of Ed Brubaker’s Catwoman run! Something set/based on that would be the BEST.

I have a particular soft spot for late 80s/early 90s teams and characterization. I haven't been a regular reader/subscriber to more current books in a long time, although I've read bits and pieces of the current Krakoa era and would like to get into more. Feel free to mix and match as you please!

Irene Adler/Raven Darkholme
Queer adventurer/villain/mutant activist wives (and co-parents). I mean. <3 Obviously there's some inherent melancholy here, given that Irene ages and Raven doesn't (among other factors) - but I'd prefer something that isn't too angsty, and especially something that doesn't include/reference Irene's death. After being editorially closeted for decades, they deserve some joy. (Additionally - anything dealing with accessibility in a positive way would be lovely.)
Fic prompts:

the story of how they met/fell in love in early 20th century Europe, probably amidst a caper!

actually, historical caperfic anytime from the 1900s on would be awesome (whether as costumed supervillains, or the days when I suspect they were pre-costume and probably oftentimes a lot more ambiguous in terms of their allegiances and goals.)

the pair wind up having some kind of ideological conflict they have to resolve to complete/salvage a mission (and reconcile emotionally).

Raven is certainly an aggressive person, while Irene often comes off as more reserved, but I’d enjoy seeing that dynamic reversed in private. I imagine Raven as somewhat service-oriented with Irene (possibly including service-topping in the bedroom?), devoted to her wife, following instructions or just prioritizing her in general. (And woe betide anyone who is so much as rude to Irene!)

balancing family ties with ... other pursuits during Rogue's childhood, and the challenges that entails.

Kitty Pryde/Rachel Summers
This pair is one of my longest-standing, most ironclad OTPs. I have a very particular love for their Excalibur-era incarnations and the frequent goofiness inherent to that book. On the other hand, I think they have rich opportunities to work with catharsis and caretaking through kink, with regard to Rachel’s traumatic history. The fact that her terrible past comes with so much BDSM coding makes me want to see her in more positive, healing kinky scenarios; and she and Kitty have such a deep, trusting, intimate connection, complete with psychic link. (I go back to this one scene in Excalibur #75 where Rachel actually brings Kitty into her traumatic memories. Sigh. <3)

Fic prompts:

Excalibur-era: how do a couple of gals get some private time when they live in a lighthouse with their teammates (and sometimes random aliens/interdimensional intruders), and government officials are always coming to visit? Yeesh. ;)

I love the early Excalibur issue where they argue about their different styles of dress (starting with the third image down in this post). Drawing from that, they each challenge the other to spend a day engaging in an activity the challenger enjoys, together, and hilarity ensues.

Invent a Cross-Time Caper world and some wacky hijinks for them to cope with together! Tongue-in-cheek and meta commentary always welcome!

I’d love a kink story where the focus is on the aftercare as much as the play; Kitty cleaning Rachel with a warm or cool washcloth, snuggling her, playing with her hair, talking her back to herself (whether aloud or over their link).

I've had a deep attachment to Kitty and Rachel's exchange on this page since before I could even entirely explain what I saw between them as a kid. When Kitty literally held Rachel's naked body on her return/rescue during X-Treme X-Men #44-45, I so desperately wanted them to kiss "hello." If you wanted to take a crack at reimagining this scene (and please feel free not to mimic the art style if so), you'd basically make my year.

The best kids! I mainly just want them to have opportunities to be safe and happy and ridiculous together for a bit. Team-building, bonding and silly shenanigans, please! This is a big ensemble cast, so obviously don't stress about giving them all equal time. I also love Xi'an, Amara, and interim headmaster!Magneto, if you find you want to include any of them. Kitty Pryde is welcome too.

I've been shipping Dani/Illyana a bit lately, which you're welcome to play with/hint at (or not); I also just love all the friendships between the kids, but maybe especially between Dani & Rahne and Doug & Warlock. One way or another, though, I'd prefer to keep anything with this group G- or T-rated at most.

Fic prompts:

a scavenger hunt and/or prank war wreaks havoc at the X-mansion

a couple of the kids get themselves into some form of mundane teenage trouble, and the rest have to extricate them from the consequences
