fix me, or conflict me; I'll take anything
So a few weeks ago, when
jjtaylor posted Nothing To Confess, I knew I was going to have to do some more art. The story was everything I wanted when I imagined a BLI!Patrick; seriously creepy and hot.

So uh, what I'm trying to say with this is basically ... unf. Maybe it's good to be getting this version out of my system before I go see the real Patrick in a few weeks.

Every scene between these two in the story basically knocked me flat. Also, I kind of want an anti-BLI!Clan shirt. And color is still my nemesis. Thanks to
ataratah, yet again, for your input. ♥
Apart from that, this week I've been re-watching the second season of Angel (Gunn and Wesley are precious; I'd almost forgotten) and finishing up the first season of Castle, which I kind of adore. The dynamic between Beckett and Castle is kind of fabulous, particularly because I think it manages to do justice to both characters, rather than having either of them show the other up too consistently. Also, I would seem to be a sucker for father/daughter dynamics lately. Netflix can't send me the second season fast enough.
Oh hey, and if you liked the art above? Just a reminder that I'm up for auction at
help_japan. :D I'll illustrate your fic (or just draw you something), or even make you a comic! All as a bonus for sending some aid and comfort where it's desperately needed.

Ok, first, the smirk of "I just fucked Pete Wentz" and PUTTING HIS TIE BACK ON and his expression and his hair and ughhhhh it's pure sex. I have to tell you, I'm really glad we get evil Patrick if you're going to make him look like THAT.
Second, nnnngggggh. No, wait, sorry. I love Pete's universe-appropriate Clan shirt, and the way the sleeve is torn, and his purple hair, and the way we can still see Patrick's gun and the way Pete is looking at Patrick's face and not where his hand is on Pete's arm and the sort of stunned adoration on Pete's face. I love Patrick's body language, the way he leans in and the way it's creepy and intimate and he's concerned about Pete's injury but also kind of....too concerned. Ugh, I love seeing the way you draw characters in each other's spaces.
Third, can I write in this universe forever?

First, thanks! I'm glad I could pull that off for you; you certainly pulled it off for me in your story. The TIE, my god.
Second, oh man, I'm always thrilled when you pick up the little details and implications; Patrick's gun is important! It may be down, but it's important that it's still there. Oh, I fucking love their dynamic in that scene; I had to try and capture it.
Third, I don't know, but I want to read all of it. <333
