Meanwhile, I missed the first five minutes of Heroes, and now I have no idea what's going on.

Speaking of which, on a non-fannish note, I wonder: can anyone help me with craigslist?

I'm having a problem, and I'm pretty mystified. I'm kind of afraid of their help forum, so I thought I'd post about it here first. I don't have a great deal of experience with craigslist; I've only been using it for a few weeks (and this problem only just popped up in the last few days).

I've emailed at least fifteen people about their housing ads in the last four or five days. (Nearly all of these ads are still current on the site, and most of them were posted the day that I sent my email.) I haven't received a single response to any of my emails. This strikes me as odd; sure, some people don't respond to all their emails, but out of fifteen?

I thought maybe there was something wrong with craigslist's anonymizer emails, so I reposted an old ad of my own, and emailed myself using the craigslist address assigned to my ad. The test seemed to work: my email never came through. But then I tried it using my yahoo account, and it went through . . . and I started receiving other responses to my ad.

So I resent all my previous emails using yahoo (and a few more, for new ads that have come up today and yesterday). I still haven't received a single response.

So confused. Is this just bad luck? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
