Oh man, much as I liked Victor/Victoria, the character of King Murchand just... drove me up the wall. Hated his ass, loved everything else; I just wanted to watch his bodyguard, Toddy, and Victor/Victoria run off together and live happily ever after in vaudeville or something. (I did see a fic once where Toddy and V went to Paris or something and continued performing.)
