It's been a Broadway show before, and would definitely be cool to see again, especially if they wanted to tweak the story a bit! (I don't know much about contemporary Broadway actors, though, so IDK! Toddy is actually the one I have the hardest time recasting in my head; I love Robert Preston in the role so much. Speaking of Broadway actors.)
I think there's plenty of role model there to go around!
