Hi there! This is the best exchange; I’m so excited. Thank you for drawing for me!

I had a wonderful time with the first iteration of MFD; the low-pressure, mutually enthusiastic and encouraging feeling of the whole thing was a breath of fresh air and a source of inspiration to me. Let’s keep that going! I’m so glad you’re here; please know that whatever your skill level or experience is (and these things are SUPER relative, srsly), whatever your style(s)/medium(s) of choice, I can’t wait to see what you make. Making stuff! It’s the best!

I happen to really love prompts, likes, and that sort of thing to play with, so I’m going to try and provide a bunch below, but they are entirely take-them-or-leave-them as far as I’m concerned. I’d appreciate you taking my DNWs into account, but apart from that, please have fun with whichever character, group, ship, setting, etc I’ve requested that catches your fancy. However you like. (On the subject of likes: note that the "Thematic Likes" and "Art Likes" links under the cut will open a separate post, in a new tab. I've had a deep attachment to Kitty and Rachel's exchange on this page since before I could even entirely explain what I saw between them as a kid. When Kitty literally held Rachel's naked body on her return/rescue during X-Treme X-Men #44-45, I so desperately wanted them to kiss "hello." Group: Rookie Superheroine in Homemade Costume & Her Famous Role Model She Met Accidentally

the role model is VERY fancy and shiny and floating effortlessly next to the rookie heroine who has just managed to trip over her own too-long cape

the role model and the rookie are equally shocked that the rookie has just managed to stop a bullet/knock out a thug/etc that was about to catch the role model by surprise, thereby possibly saving her life

the role model has just entered the fray beside the rookie, just totally friendly and encouraging and comrade-ly, while the rookie looks shocked and awed and a bit mortified to be perceived by her personal hero (she was hoping she’d be able to get a better costume together first)

Place: A Haunted Bathroom

a very creepy old-fashioned bathroom that clearly MUST be haunted, although no ghost is exactly visible

a very cheery, cutely-decorated little bathroom with a friendly and/or ominous ghostly message written in the steam on the mirror

a more modern bathroom with ghostly furnishings of the past overlaid …

really, I’ll bet you can come up with something cooler than I can. Have fun with the bathroom decor! Threatening hauntings and benign hauntings are both great! Show me a reflection in the mirror even though there’s nobody actually visible in the room! Maybe it’s a public bathroom! Maybe we’re outside the door to a public bathroom, and someone has frozen in the act of reaching for the handle because of the scary noises coming from inside! I just really like the vast possibilities … would love to see what you make of them.
