it's only comfort calling late

yuletide stuff is already starting up. I'm buzzing, here.
Also, the next From Eroica With Love translation is finally out tomorrow. Bastards pushed it back a week at the last minute!
I hope that I'll feel inspired to try drawing the characters, once I've read it. I need the "man practice," and anyway, I'd like to be able to contribute something to this tiny new fandom of mine. I don't think i could write for it . . . but so far, my attempts have been feeble.
Fandom: Eroica
Characters: Major Klaus Heinz von dem Eberbach & Dorian Red, Earl of Gloria
Rating: PG (but beware the bad anatomy)
Summary: Some preliminary attempts from . . . awhile ago. As you can tell from looking at Dorian, I gave up and just didn't draw his musculature at all. I will do better next time.

Seriously, I can do better.
I might just cave and request Eroica foryuletide this year . . . I'm iffy about it, though, because it will skew things. I'd like to have more or less even chances amongst my requests, but Eroica's one of the more popular "obscure" fandoms I might consider (much like Scrubs, or Jeeves & Wooster, which I never request for that reason). Someone's likely to request it, and to write it, whether I do or not . . . but given my current mania, I'm not sure I can resist. Heh.
Sometime in the next week or two, my website should be getting an update, complete with many recs. I realize I mentioned this over a month ago, but I've actually been working on it. All I have to do now is . . . finish the layout images. I think.
