Yeah, I hear you ... I've had a much more difficult time bringing this issue up with people IRL (though I keep on doing it) because I find it really hard not to go from zero to rage. /o\ Which doesn't help if they're clueless and I really want to have a chance of convincing them.
Prince of Persia bothered me too, although I admit that it didn't get to me as much as The Last Airbender does (personal fan bias, tch). I certainly didn't go to see it, though, and I've tried to bring it up with people who did/planned to. So many people just don't seem to think of this issue at all. Naturally. :/
I can't tell if this is just my skewed perspective, or if The Last Airbender in particular managed to raise an unusual amount of awareness? (Not nearly enough, clearly, but still.) The folks who run racebending say they're planning on continuing the site as a center for inclusivity activism in general, which is something - definitely a resource I'll be interested in making use of in the future.
