Oooh, that sucks. Power outages are always kind of meh, until you realize the full extent of everything you just simply can't DO. AT ALL. I always take at least a half hour being like, so, no computer, at least there's the TV - or, no, well, I can make some tea - no... fine, I'll read a book -- NO LIGHT, WHY??? So, good call in just giving up and going to the comic book store. I hope you have a better night today.
