I don't have an icon for ridiculous giddy excitement! WTF, self.
So I just have to get through this one day of work before the insane weekend of bandfannish glee begins! (I just might explode first.) My Chemical Romance at Madison Square Garden tomorrow night with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sweetvalleyslut, olivia_circe, and half the internet! The Hush Sound and Panic at the Disco on Sunday, sort of by myself but really with a large chunk of the internet as well. No sleep and lots of being rained-on and indeterminately long bus rides. I am so excited, you guys!
Hopefully I will at least finish the color version of my Greta/Vicky-T fanart tonight (I fell back on flat color, so it should really already be done). I feel like such a freeloader in this fandom right now! There is so much great fic, I've barely scratched the surface; and I'm extra-slow with fanart because I can't really carry my references everywhere. (I'm working on something incredibly cracked-out right now, but it's an unlikely crossover-ish thing and I don't know how many people could possibly get it. It makes me really happy, though!)
Also, competing with my fanart inspiration is all this other fresh inspiration to learn guitar, redesign my tattoo, and most importantly, work on my comics. Gerard motherfucking Way. (No, really. I was re-reading "Umbrella Academy" reviews, and then I went home and wrote up a summary for a third comic. Good gods.) It's slightly embarrassing how much of a . . . cultist I've become.
I've never been entirely comfortable with being a fangirl. (I realize this is weird, considering that it's been one of my strongest identifiers for at least a decade. It's true, though.) I feel a little weird/self-conscious about giving in to my squee, and I always have done. (Particularly when I'm squeeing over actual people rather than just ideas.) But really, what's the use? :)
I am going to see them tomorrow. Words do not quite express this level of sheer squee.
