comica_obscura challenge is finally starting!
In case you didn't catch me squeeing about it in my old journal,comica_obscura is a fanfiction exchange for, well, obscure comic characters. ("Obscure" is a little broader than in the Yuletide sense, actually.) It is an incredibly awesome concept, and last year's crop of stories are really, really good. Lots of incentive to participate, even in the busiest month of the schoolyear.

prozacpark* I just sent out my sign up email a couple of minutes ago, myself. Huzzah.
Yes, I'm going to die. It's April of my senior year, I have three concerts, copious finals, and job search things to do. But . . . comics. (I definitely offered some characters who would be a stretch for me to write, but that worked out really well with Yuletide, so why not?)
By the way, if my own lovely writer happens to pass this way: femslash is encouraged; smut is always welcome, as is deep introspection; I'm kind of allergic to character death. Also, I'm very, very grateful. In advance. ;)
