reflectedeveWhoops, Chocolate Box reveals are here already! I have so many comments to leave, which I intend to do today. But first, I'm excited to share my all-X-Men slate of contributions. I've been feeling such a fannish resurgence for the last few months, so I ... pretty much could not resist.

Shameless smooching art for my forever OTP! I had too much fun drawing the flame effects, and I wound up playing with a different way of coloring (Kitty's) hair.

Kitty's two traumatized girlfriends take care of HER for a change, whether she likes it or not. A blatant excuse to draw some 80s-era X-costuming and hair styles, among other things.

An illustration forEdonohana's fic Demons, Doom and Pink Jelly Shoes, which was a Yuletide standout for me this year. Ororo and Illyana do some mall bonding, and trauma is real, but so is hope and appreciating the life you have. That reflection effect with storm and the mannequin was ... challenging.

And now for something a bit different! I started drawing this before the sign-up period had even closed, because the image of Storm carrying Wolverine in her arms was just too appealing to pass up. And the nostalgia of revisiting the 90s cartoon designs! Logan's proportions were challenging. I should probably try drawing a few more stocky/muscular dudes now and then.
