Random thought of the day: I wonder if there's any decent meta out there about Avatar: The Last Airbender and race/culture. There must be.

Come to think of it, I have no good Avatar resources at all. Not for fic, not for news. Maybe I'll make this my mission when I get home tonight.

Oh, and yeah, I'm alive. Might even draw something soon, now that I have Photoshop again!

Trouble is, I'm feeling really "eh" about fandom lately. SGA has gotten extremely blah. Fandom in general is so boy-centric, and I am very much feeling the girls lately. I've been watching Battlestar Galactica, and I'm not really sure I even want fic for it.

I'm sure that once the next volume of Eroica comes out in a couple of weeks, I'll be filled with the squee. And maybe I'll find some good Avatar fic and get inspired.

Seriously, though. Where are the women?

Although, really, how many writing projects have you taken on now? :p

I mean, given the choice, I'd probably prefer the Greta/Amanda epic (shocked gasps all 'round). But, I'm very curious who you'd pair up from BSG. (And girlporn is just encouraged, period! Need more girls! Drowning in boys! Um. :p)

I will get on that! Although maybe not that quickly, as the Things I Am Writing post-it on my laptop is reaching epic proportions. I am not complaining! Writing is amazing! But still, twelve stories at once is probably enough, especially when at least four of them are ENORMOUS PLOT-FILLED MONSTROSITIES. (I think that is why I volunteered to write you girlporn, because it could potentially be short girlporn.)

That said, I am super excited about the Greta/Amanda epic, so I will think about prioritizing it a little, as I did sort of promise you I would. And because I find the whole prospect of writing you a bandom epic hilarious.

I don't know! There are lots of cool women on BSG! They should all be having sex with each other! Actually what I really want is reincarnated!Sharon/Caprica Six mid-S2 when they are Staging A Cylon Revolution. But that's just me.

Oh! Speaking of the various versions of Six, you know about the canon BSG backstory femslash with Gina (aka TorturedPegasus!Six) and Admiral Cain, right? There should be more fic about that, except that it is horrific and tragic.

As for me and bandom epics . . . eh. Current diagnosis is that I'm not into bandom because a) so many boys and b) their music just isn't my favorite. Greta and Amanda are exceptions to both! If bandom was more focused on the Dresden Dolls and the Hush Sound, who knows what would happen! (It's still kind of funny, though, you're right.)

. . . not just you. Although I was very disappointed in both of them later, if it's set during that point, totally yes. (Only time that I actively liked a Six, really.) So yeah, could totally go for that. :)

I do, though I haven't actually seen Razor yet. Not sure I'll want fic for that, though, given certain aspects (re: Gina's real feelings). I did catch a bit of a vibe off of Cain and Starbuck, but I don't know. *cough*
