I have a sae (♥!), so I'm all kinds of busy this week with arboretums and cafes and trips to Salem and lots of drawing. But, in case any fanartists out there have missed it and might be interested: yuletart sign-ups end tonight (midnight PST)! Go go go, it's going to be seriously awesome. :D

Rockthevote and the Obama campaign mailing list need to stop making me freak out about voter registration. I voted in the primaries after I moved here, and I totally called Somerville's election office to confirm that I'm properly registered, a whole month ago. I am not still registered in Western MA. Info is out of date. >:( Also, must remember to buy extra booze for debate-watching gathering tonight.

Heh. Yeah, the day I received my confirmation of voter registration in Medford in the postal mail, IVoteYouVote.com still had me as non-registered.

Ugh, that website doesn't have me at all.

I realize all my listservs are just trying to be helpful with the reminders, but it's making me paranoid. Must try to ignore.

Yeah, it told me "Sorry. We can't confirm Elizabeth [redacted] is registered to vote in Massachusetts." I had my paper confirmation in hand, but since all these sites were getting pimped all over the place on LJ I figured I'd check it out for the hell of it. I've been pretty good at ignoring them. Mostly I'm just excited to get to vote yes on (albeit a babystep toward) decriminalizing pot :) Though I still have to make up my mind on the greyhound question.

I don't know where my paper confirmation is, but I definitely didn't imagine that phone call, or voting in the primary (and it's not like I've moved since), so pfft. Ignoring.

Yeah, I haven't made up my mind about the greyhounds either (I should do some actual research). I figure Question #2 is a symbolic gesture more than anything, but looking forward to it anyway. :)
