I have been so easily enraged this week! Elitist movie critics, bitchy demanding professors, sluggish public transportation . . . of course, some things are really legitimately upsetting (fucking hell, Peter David).

Fortunately, bandom canon has been working extra hard at being ridiculous this week. ♥ I don't know what to do with them all. I've been holding off on FOB Trail for fear of getting addicted and slowing down even further on my arting, but it's probably only a matter of time.

Speaking of which, artist sign-ups have opened for thelittlebang (the multifandom femslash mini-bigbang)! They'll stay open for awhile, but seriously, flist, some of you should totally get in on this. It's kind of a random list of fandoms, but there's a lot of awesome in there. (GIRLS! :DDDDD) I shuffled the order of my choices around, but I really can't decide what I'm hoping for at all. Man, between this and bandombigbang, I am going to be bouncing out of my seat with impatience all spring.

Maybe at some point I will talk about some of the "new" television I've been watching lately. It's kind of a ridiculous list: BSG, Dollhouse (my curiosity is tenacious), Slings and Arrows, Dexter, The Young Ones, and Merlin, of course. Roomie & I will probably get back to The West Wing eventually, also; we only got through the first two seasons before.

Post your thoughts on "Dollhouse" already! And I also want to see what you think of "Dexter." :) And, um, that is a lot of TV. I'm going to have nothing once the seasons for "Big Love" and BSG end. Sigh.

I never wanted to know as much about Peter David as I've learned in the last week.

Aw, but I don't know if I really have much to add to the discussion, really. So much has been said! :) I'll see if I can't scrape something semi-articulate together, I guess, maybe after I watch this next episode.

As for Dexter, I might need to watch more than four episodes, first. I'm Netflixing or downloading most of what I'm watching right now; my Dollhouse/BSG night is the only TV I'm current on. (Big Love! I knew I was forgetting to add something to my queue . . . there's already what probably amounts to several years worth of TV viewing on there, ack.)

I am so utterly disappointed in him. Ugh.

I have no idea what you think of the show at all, so really, anything you post on "Dollhouse" should be interesting.

Watch "Big Love!" It's so insanely awesome that I can't even put it in words. Like, I'm totally sadder about the season ending than BSG ending forever, despite my insane Sam/Kara obsession. I vote for pushing "Big Love" up in the queue. ;) Oh, and don't forget to add "Carnivale" and "Twin Peaks," if you haven't already. :)

And yeah, his wankery has reached Anne Rice levels, and that's just tragic. which is sad given that I've enjoyed everything I've read by him, and now I'm going to have that in the back of my head when reading things by him.

I watched a handful of episodes of "Big Love" awhile back with a friend. :) Since my roomie let me in on his Netflix account, I've been mostly using it to catch up on things I've been meaning to watch for ages. Speaking of which, I remembered "Carnivale" but somehow forgot "Twin Peaks." D'oh, thanks!

The stuff he did with scans_daily was wanky, from what little I've seen, but this is just fucking offensive. I never know quite how to react to that with creators I'd previously admired; I'm probably just won't be reading anything by him for awhile.

FOB Trail is killing my productivity. All I can think about now is how to keep the meth lab from exploding and shooting the flying sheep and keeping prima donna Patrick from dying of sadness.
