I was always busy and you never had the time

Back home in the Valley for the weekend, but pretty exclusively for Mom's birthday this time around. We're going to see Threepenny Opera tonight (Mack the Knife!). I mostly love spending time with my parents. Dad and I sat around last night discussing modernist poetry and regaling my mother with stories of Pound's craziness.

(Did not quite know how to explain the occasional snickering over Mikeyway's twitters, but they're used to me having weird reactions to technology by now.)

Have learned that Peter Pan buses and low blood sugar are a combination that must be avoided at all costs, but aside from that!

Totally. :) There is a lot of family stuff in March/April, but there will be other visits; it's hard to keep me out of the Valley.
