Ooh damn, I am falling asleep here.
IDK, I thought I'd just mention that I'm not dead. :D? I have been a little busy with family stuff and a stupid original art exercise that took approximately five times longer than it should have. Also there was some fanart malfunctioning. IDK.
This week has been awesome, though, because I finished the art exercise and cooked tasty things that involved more than two or three steps/ingredients (I am usually very lame about this), got started on some non-malfunctioning fanart, and broke in my new Umbrella Academy umbrella. (My boss will not stop mocking me for wanting to be rained on. She has a point.) Also BBB art claims are a week from tomorrow, and I am so excited. It's going to be non-stop fanart projects for a couple of months now!
There's a lot to be excited about, really, on all sides. My favorite online comic ever is finally about to be available in print, and next week I am going to see Fall Out Boy (for the first time)! Also
jjtaylor's newfound enthusiasm for Due South has sucked me in so much that I've decided to rewatch the entire series from beginning to end (I have not watched the third & fourth seasons in a couple of years now), so that should be epic.
Anyway, yeah. Things are happening! How are you, flist? ♥

Date: 2009-04-26 04:07 pm (UTC)And the only thing stopping me from the TUA umbrella is 1) not quite as foldable as I would like, and 2) thirty dollars. Eep. (To be fair, the Degas is 22, but still!)

Date: 2009-04-27 01:36 pm (UTC)It was kind of ridiculously expensive for an umbrella, but I'm hoping that will encourage me not to lose it. (That and its size - for years I've had convenient little umbrellas that you can tuck into bags, but they're so easy to misplace. /o\)

Date: 2009-04-27 05:09 pm (UTC)I require something that can be tucked into bags, because I have to walk to classes every day. The weather here is prone to dithering.

Date: 2009-04-27 06:00 pm (UTC)Yeah, traveling to work by subway has definitely made that part easier - I'm just keeping my last almost-dead tiny umbrella at work in case of really unexpected downpours.

Date: 2009-04-27 06:14 pm (UTC)Oh, close enough, close enough. XDDD So pretty, both of them.
I survive only by the grace of the free newspaper in my lecture hall.

Date: 2009-04-26 05:25 am (UTC)Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. Hey, when I was home last time (for Easter, so no visiting-time sadly), I saw some old Doctor Who novels in the "pulp" rack at Raven Used Books (in Northampton). I thought of you. :)

This changing weather is hell on pretty much everyone I know. And their heads. Seriously. Everyone I know has a headache.

Awww. ♥ Never tell me these things. Now I'm gonna have to go check next time I'm in! I think they closed the Amherst location, actually. I can't remember.

♥ Sorry. For all I know they could be the most common titles ever and you've had them for ages?
