I misunderstood the point of this ride

Thank you for creating for me this round! This fest has been one of my favorites since I first discovered it seven years ago, and I'm excited to have fun with it again this year. I hope the process is as enjoyable for you!

I've decided that I'm in the mood for a smaller slate of requests this year (at least, in terms of fandom; some of them have a bunch of pairings). Nearly everything here is something I've asked for, and occasionally received, before, but will never get tired of. And a few ideas are new!

I'm an ... enthusiastic prompter; please, don't feel constrained! Those details are there to give you options, not remove them! If you make something for one of these pairings, and avoid my DNWs, I will be over the moon. <3

I love these two, and I've been wanting to draw them since "The Last Jedi" first came out ... better late than never? (Interestingly, this earned the first blatantly negative comment I've received on deviantArt in years - some sixteen-year-old child felt moved to refer to Vice Admiral Holdo as an ugly bitch. Well, he said she was "uglier in person," so maybe there was even a bizarre backhanded compliment there. Pff.)

I'm a little twitchy because I just sent my dad an email informing him about my nearly year-old polyamorous relationship, with a brief aside about the importance of using the correct pronouns for my partner (and a direct acknowledgement that I've never asked him to do the same for me because it's a difficult and complicated subject for us, even though I recently discovered he knows what I go by).

I think it's likely to be fine, honestly. I'm mostly worried about discomfort and awkwardness around the polyamorous part, and recriminations over how very long I've kept something so momentous from him. Which is hardly the end of the world. But it took me four drafts and a therapy session to write, so, you know. Glad that's done.

Anyway, I got to spend most of the weekend with said partner after seven weeks apart, which was wonderful. And it's our first anniversary on Wednesday. So there's far more happy than stress going on over here!
